I'm starting a spoken word club at my college. Today I did some paperwork and designed a flier. Source image: (mediatagged for size) Flier: (this one, too) That negative space on the bottom left would have the meeting dates once I get that decided. C/C? (sigh) I guess I should've been clear. I'm not showing off the picture I took. That was one of many images, and by far, not my favorite one. I'm asking for comments/criticisms on the flier.
The fliers alright, and the photo could have been better if you took it from a different angle.
it was one of 450 photos. I just used the photo for the flier. It's not the pride of the shoot. (this one probably is :P)
Her neck looks abit fat in original picture.
awesome job on the flier. how'd you get the photo to come out like that? tutorial?
filter>smart blur>edge only> (fiddle with levels, press ok)> Invert> Filter> Cutout> ok That gets you the outline. The hair is made from some old brushes I made with some water colors and a scanner.
Terrible font and color choice for the flier.
Terrible font and color choice for the flier.
what would you use?
Myriad and Helvetica. Woot.
I like it
