Steam Lottery - Current Jackpot: BioShock Infinite

It's a nice idea.
Do the tickets cross over with other contests?
Can you choose which contests you can enter?
I like this idea, I plan to enter but when people say it is legitimate. Don't get me wrong, I personally believe it is but I do get paranoid about these sites, mainly the offering free steam games part.
.
I tried to sign in through steam then the whole page was in German and I don't understand a word of it.
The facebook like ticket isn't working for me, it says the server can't find my information. Do I have to set my timeline to be publicly visible instead of friends-only or something?
Does the winner just receive the gift immediately or do they need to claim it?
Also this is a nice idea, very generous too.
Not participating. My pc cant run the game
Like all others :(
.
This is very fucking cool.
Once the winner has been randomly chosen, we will personally contact you and provide you with the game. As well as publicly announce you as the winner.
How exactly would you contact us? Through Steam?
.
I appreciate that, thank you.
Some tickets will cross over to other contests and others will not. For example, if you like our Facebook page you will get a Facebook ticket. You certainly cannot re-like the page in the next lottery, so you will be able to keep this ticket for the next contest.
Right now we will only be running one lottery at a time.
EDIT: By the way if you have any problems with the site please contact us on Twitter, through the website, or on our Steam Group. We're actively trying to fix any bugs that may occur with verifying tickets.
I'm assuming for the tweet one you'll need to tweet each new giveaway.
Having a bit of trouble verifying my facebook ticket.
Yesterday I launched a website called Steam Lottery that I have worked on with a friend of mine. The website is simple, it only has one page of content. Just by signing in, you will receive an admission ticket which means you have one chance to win BioShock Infinite. Afterward, you can increase your chances by earning more tickets. Each ticket has a different objective, you'll have to read about them on the website itself.

The entire process is free, we never ask a cent from you or tell you to complete some stupid survey.
Honestly, this website is extremely experimental. This lottery ends on April 21st and I don't know if I will be able to afford to run another.
By the way, I don't intend to fool anyone here with the website's name. Much like steamgifts.com or steamtrades.com, steamlottery.com is not associated with the Valve Corporation nor does it pretend to be so.
I'm very interested in hearing any ticket ideas anyone might have.
You should have a Facepunch ticket.
For every year old your account is, you get a ticket.
Do the referral tickets disappear after every auction?
If they do, can we use the same friend twice?

You would say that, being from 2007 and all
Also, if you're feeling like loving me sexy:

Referral tickets will disappear after every lottery. However you can refer the same friends you did in the previous lottery and get a new ticket. You might piss them off though.
You certainly have a good idea for granting a ticket for being a predominate member in a community. I don't think its possible with Facepunch unless there is an API I can use.
i've been here 8 years i should get 8 tickets or just the game thanks
(cool idea btw seriously)

Giving tickets for donating games to the site could fix the problem.
