These videos are some of the best quality videos on YouTube, and I watch every single one of them. They're so good, and so well explained, especially for a person like me who never has had any experience or involvment or knowledge of the workings of a moving picture of any kind.

I wouldn't mind seeing a new kind of youtuber if this keeps up.
It'll be great to see more on the rise

Similarly, they are very educational for people like me, who don't have any formal education or experience with filmmaking, but are getting into it through the "I have a story I want to tell, and the tools to tell it" do-it-yourself approach.

There's a good few channels like this out there to be honest, channel crisswell, nerdwriter1 are pretty good, but this one is my favourite.

Oh kaptainkristian is good too.
Oh god thank god for this video. I do super heavy editing for my youtube channel and I've been praised a lot on it, and this video put a lot of what I do into sufficient words. I thought I was fucking insane that I could edit videos just based purely on will - a lot of it is sorta looking at it, and your body tells you to stop and cut. Hearing even the intro to this is actually pretty neat and that what I do is pretty common. Legitimizes it, if you will. I've had no prior training in it whatsoever yet it's something that I find myself being good at for literally no discernible reason (sounds like bragging but it's really more a large amount of confusion)
I should probably look at more of these videos, I've heard a lot about them from others and this one was super informative. Precisely my cup of tea
This is a really good video, being an editor for my career a lot of these things I never knew how to put into words but this guys does it really well.
