I found it on wikipedia, personally
Such footage is difficult to find through conventional searches so I was eager to share it
74 men dead. Damn...
If anyone's interested, this is a great Youtube channel for World War 2 footage.
Historic videos like these are great.
These Videos are really amazing, they really make me feel like it was real, its like at the point where ww2 seams surreal, we know it happened but in a way It feels like it didn't, its just so distant from our realitys and its just not present enough in my mind and I hear people talk and I read about it but we don't see any footage of the war. I see this, and really, it opens my eyes
And they still couldn't sink it. At one point it was our only remaining aircraft carrier
I love how happy the music is.

Enterprise survived a kamikaze attack that blew its No 2 elevator (yes, those huge aircraft elevators they bring stuff up to the flight deck with) hundreds of feet in the air.
And in the end, she was scrapped. So sad to see such a remarkable piece of history gone forever. The ships bell is still preserved at the US Naval Academy in Annapolis, if I am not mistaken.
Yeah it's awful that she was scrapped, instead of being turned into a museum.
