This game is too popular for its own good for sure.
I didn't think this game was still popular enough to have an event like this
Make sure you catch all those Pokes! WE FUCKING CAN'T
$100 in Pokecoins? Offer me an extra hour in the ball pit and then we'll talk.
They just couldn't stop themselves from saying things which would obviously piss people off lol
audience shoutouts are the greatest thing edit:
I can't wait for something like this in Toronto.. no I don't.
They should add a Pokemon Go exclusive Dumpster Fire Pokemon to commemorate Pokemon Go Fest 2017
mystic7 is such a twat
only person who didn't come off as a twat was the CMO
"WE FUCKING CAN'T" Jesus Christ I 'bout spat everywhere.
Edit: Made a mistake in my comment. Sry.
I find it funny how no one at Niantic thought of interference problems that might arise if a huge group of people use GPS on their phones right next to each other
I find it funny how no one at Niantic thought of interference problems that might arise if a huge group of people use GPS on their phones right next to each other
it was cell tower overload, not gps related.
it was cell tower overload, not gps related.
same thing, you'd think they'd at least try to notify the ISPs like "hey, we're boutta have a huge fuckfest of people drawing service in one area, pls plan for it"

Planning or no planning. I don't think they'd beef up their cell infrastructure on that tower just for an event.
Realistically this could of been kinda avoided if their was multiple wifi networks in the park which would put ease on the network, tho setting up wifi points would be quite expensive
The bombs dialogue destroyed me.
I find it funny how no one at Niantic thought of interference problems that might arise if a huge group of people use GPS on their phones right next to each other
gps does not transmit
Mobile cell sites (often called COWs, cells on wheels) are a thing and quite common in big events and conventions.
Do these actually have data though? Because AFAIK COWs are used for international disaster relief so people can call families and shit on site.
Throwing that bottle of water was really fucking low of whoever threw it. :dogchill:
Please don't make fun of Nick (from the YouTube channel, Trainer Tips). He is one of the world's most advanced Pokemon-playing robots ever made.
Throwing that bottle of water was really fucking low of whoever threw it. :dogchill:
A pokeball would have been more applicable
Throwing that bottle of water was really fucking low of whoever threw it. :dogchill:
More like "Mad Over Potentially Hundreds Of Dollars Down The Drain" but it's still not cool to throw shit at someone who probably had nothing to do with it
Public speaking classes need a small segment on dodging thrown water bottles or shoes and bottle dodging techniques

I'm convinced that there's a farm out there breeding cringey convention hosts.
