So I just finished basic training and I am currently waiting for my plane to Fort Sam Houston Tx for AIT(Advance Individual Training) which for my is combat medic school. :D It was pretty bad ass, I got to shoot a .50 cal, the m240 and m249 (the big ass machine gun that's mounted on tanks and shit.) I also got to shoot a grenade launcher and throw a live grenade at a range. :smug: Anyway, all kinds of cool shit. Kind of excited right now so I really don't feel like dedicating more than 10 minutes typing this. But, I had said before to some people on here that I was going to join and I wanted them to know I made it, and if anyone has any questions about basic training feel free to ask. Here's some pictures I took with my new iphone I bought with my moniez. I hope to join the British Army/Paras soon Well done!
what do you plan on doing with your training? i assume something in the military, but more specifically are you going to Iraq/what field are you in? or is it just military school?
what do you plan on doing with your training? i assume something in the military, but more specifically are you going to Iraq/what field are you in? or is it just military school?
The real deal, Basic training for the US Army. I need to do my combat medic training still, the chances of my being deployed after training are very high but I wont know until Im finished training. Im not infantry so I didnt get to play with all the weapons the military has to offer. Here's a list of what I've shot. M16A4 .50 Cal M249 M240 AT4 Grenade Launcher Practice Handgrenade Live fragmentation grenade And that's about it. I'm told I will train with a M9 (9mm pistol) in AIT.
Welcome back man.
Lucky bastard with your single level beds, we had bunkbeds in our bay, sleeping on the top bunk fucking SUCKED.
get ready for questions from fascinated geeks that have been playing mw2 since release
Sounds awesome!! Get any no scopes with the 50. Cal?? :v: Yes it can happen, haven't you played CodMw2?? :v:
i do believe when he says ".50 cal" he's referring to this so yes, I imagine plenty of no-scopes happened.
Lucky bastard with your single level beds, we had bunkbeds in our bay, sleeping on the top bunk fucking SUCKED.
Same, I was at Fort Knox, we had the fucking heavy gauge steel box frames, we had to move every sun to wax the floors. This lucky bastard had some shit tin pipes.
Watch out for a fat guy who just doesn't seem to get it.
I am slight jealous about your beds but your bay doesn't look that clean. Also don't be wasting too much money, you don't want to believe how fast some these kids getting out of BCT are already in debt. Also assume you're really pumped up, but AIT might beat that back down, though I hope for better since you're going to what I assume is a serious AIT. It better be not just duct taping people.
Nice 45 degree hospital corners. Whenever i make my bed on a base like that, it always has heaps of slack in it.
Nice quote from Patton on the T-Shirt there.

BA BA BA BA BA BA "alright your done, clear it" Our bay was dirty. That's after we packed shit up, before we swept and mopped, it was dirty as hell, yes.

Those are some heavy ass motherfuckers, got hit in the head with a 50Cal barrel once on accident. [editline]02:10PM[/editline] Also best waste of my tax monies ever.

AH Yeah, GAS CHAMBER I had to go through twice :smug: That shit burns your skin, its like when you get sunburn and scratch your sun burned skin. But it was fun after I recovered. Oh as soon as you breathe that shit in, you're coughing, and you have snot flowing out of your nose like Niagara Falls Yeah I was part of duty squad at the .50 cal range and had to carry that heavy son of a bitch along with a MK19 (look it up) which is just as big as the .50 cal A fellow "dicksnot" in our platoon accidently picked up a .50 cal barrel that was just used and exchanged for a cooled barrel. Lol "Drill Sergeant do you want me to pack the barr-- GAAAAAAAAAAAAA" It has a handle for a reason.
I hope you're more steady with a gun than you are a camera..

Still gotta help a battle.
