The two motors i want to compare are:
The brand new Titan 550 in my brand new Slash (see avatar)
to the
Kyosho Le Mans Stock-class racing motor that was in my '80s era Hornet.
The Le Mans motor has been kept well-conditioned, meaning it performs like new.
My question is: if i put the Le mans motor in my slash (using the same pinion gear that is on the Titan) will i see the same performance, less performance, or more performance.

I hear the Le Mans is a pretty nice motor if you kept it in shape. Why don't you try and swap them and compare?
