People whining about it got the usual sighs as everyone knew they wouldn't buy it anyway, but the producer saying fuck you to them all and saying they get a bald muscle man made people take notice. Also if he's allowed to pull this kind of stunt without the publishers stepping in, he could very well be valued enough that he can crack the shits and do what he likes.

I kind of hope that Skinhead Military Man still gets in. As an alternate costume for Lucky Chloe. Same animations. Same voice. Just a big burly muscle dude as the model.

Why would you even region lock the characthers? That's like saying fuck you from the developer.

I feel like I'm missing something. Female characters have been a staple of fighting games for decades. What was so different about this one? It's obviously not skimpiness, it's not minority, it's not oversexualization... I can't rationalize this.
