my favourite character of Voyager!
To me, he was more like the ONLY character.
To me, he was more like the ONLY character.
Truly was, the rest of cast was abysmal. Except for a few like Tom Paris who were passable. EDIT Yes, 7 of nine was good. I forgot to mention her, but my statement still stands.

I like Voyager a lot more than next generation. I found it more interesting considering everyone onboard wasn't the absolute greatest person in their field. It was way more laid back.

Also, although 7-of-9 was good looking, I didn't think she added much to the show, and actually made it more awkward, that is until her relationship with the Doctor became more solid, but then there was the forced relationship between her and Chekotay on the last episode which came out of nowhere.
I remember a few years back seeing Picardo in a waffle commercial.
To me, Voyager was just mostly TNG-esc episodes with a different galaxy of aliens (Really lame ones like the Kurzon). Most of the characters were not interesting (Except the Doctor and Seven of Nine.) Janeway is easily the worst Captain imo cause she was so inconsistent on her reactions to situations. They seemed to change almost every other episode. Sometimes she was the most rational Captain, and other times she made no fucking sense. The worst being that episode where she tortures other Starfleet Officers, berates Chakotay, and risks the Voyager crew, mearly because there was a rogue Captain hiding. The worst part is after all that shit happen, Chakotay returns to duty as if he and Janeway didn't get into the worst fight ever. He just stands there at the end smiles like he fucking had fun being confined to his quarters. That was super poor writing right there. If I didn't know better, I think the writers were trying to show us how a period can affect a Captain's decision-making. It really seemed like the writing was very sloppy. Alot of the episodes just seemed like TNG plots reused. Did we seriously need another episode about a crew becoming crazy from a lack of REM sleep? And don't even get me started on how anit-climatic the last episode was. That forced Chakotay/Seven of Nine relationship at the end was painfully random.
