WASHINGTON — Donald Trump Jr. told Senate investigators on Thursday that he set up•a June 2016 meeting with a Russian lawyer•because he was intrigued that she might have damaging information about Hillary Clinton, saying it was important to learn about Mrs. Clinton’s “fitness” to be president.
New York Times: https://www.nytimes.com/2017/09/07/us/politics/trump-russia-investigation.html
So how many different excuses has he come up with about this now?
I suppose even he realizes they are not long for this office.
Sooooo Collusion?
Why do I have a feeling that Don Jr. is flexing some daddy issues now that he's got leverage over his egomaniac father?
'i stole the cookie jar just so i could look at them' great excuse

But then again Horus did betray the God Emperor. In all seriousness though he seems to think that this will take away from the investigation somehow. Putting out fires with gasoline.
and nothing will happen
I'm sick of people saying this. Of course something will happen - this is an investigation for a reason and his 'excuse' still includes the fact he met with Russians to gain the upper hand in the election, thus, further proving that there has been collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia. It's only a matter of time now. Every new step is another tick on the timebomb that is this investigation.
and nothing will happen
Have patience. Watergate took very long as well.

Thank God Detective Don was on the case defending the dignity of the office

Headlines about progress are good entertainment, but ultimately mean little if they don't have impact on either judges or the electorate.
