Alright here it is.
When i click on day of defeat source, steam gives me the usual: Preparing to launch Day of Defeat: Source...
Then it keeps saying,
Validating steam files,
and a loading bar gets to 50 then jumps to 58% then it tells me,
The Steam Servers are currently to busy to handle your request.
Please try again in a few minutes.
So this has happened for the past few days, ill try 3 or 4 times a day and it still gives me that message.
Delete ClientRegistry.blob from your Steam directory. This is always the first thing to try.
If it keeps doing it, there's nothing to do but keep waiting.

ORRRR you can right-click on the game -> properties -> local files -> verify integrity of game cache.

i have done both of these.
