Khazaee, who became a naturalized US citizen in 1991, was charged with “transporting, transmitting and transferring in interstate or foreign commerce goods obtained by theft, conversion, or fraud,” a crime that carries a maximum of 10 years imprisonment. According to a US government affidavit, federal agents began investigating Khazaee in November, when he attempted to send a shipment from Connecticut to the Iranian city of Hamadan. When agents inspected the shipment, they found “numerous boxes of documents consisting of sensitive technical manuals, specification sheets, and other proprietary material for the F-35. Those documents came from a company that Khazaee had last worked at in August of 2013.
as much as i dont like the F-35, it is an advanced piece of hardware that would probably make us lose our edge if Intel of it went out. Forgot to post me sources, anyways will update when new info comes out. dont kill me

Source please?
dat name tho, I mean really, why are we surprised? Also, 10 years? That's it? This dude tried to give sensitive data on the latest and greatest we have to offer in aircraft to our enemies and the most he'll see is 10 years in prison assuming he A. Gets the max in the first place and B. Isn't paroled for some BS reason like "good behavior"? smfh. What's to stop him from trying to do this again when he gets out?
dat name tho, I mean really, why are we surprised?
Yo, racism isn't fucking funny, and neither is telling Mac users to get a "real computer". Shut your face. Waiting for a source, too.

If the trainwreck that is the RnD of the f-35 is anything to go by, giving Iran the blueprints would probably be a tactically smart move.
I don't think it's possible to lose the edge. The entire plane is edge
it's an awesome plane but if info of it comes out the enemy might get to make hardware that would blunt the edge.
itt: whiny bitches Also name != race, sorry.
Joined on December 2013, is an idiot AND banned. Would I be wrong in assuming Rust brought him here?
it's an awesome plane but if info of it comes out the enemy might get to make hardware that would blunt the edge.
That joke flew over you like an F-35 prototype.
How is it only 10 years? This is clearly some sort of treason, which carries more than 10 years, in fact...it can mean a death sentence.
That joke flew over you like an F-35 prototype.
So it exploded and sent million dollar bolts over his head?
The only thing exploding in regards to the F-35 is its development budget [editline]14th January 2014[/editline] oh and the plane itself

In fact, I predict there will be as the FBI and NSA and whoever the fuck else agency dig up every single thing about his life that they can find.

Israel was pulling shit like this for years, why isn't it jailed yet?
Israel was pulling shit like this for years, why isn't it jailed yet?
BECAUSE JEWS, FUCK YOU ARE YOU SOME KIND OF NAZI COMMIE MUSLIM???????!!!! Ahem. Yeah, America and Israel is a complicated and very stupid situation. That was a joke, above, btw.

That is what'll stop him from doing it again.
Dat racist attitude.
Fuck off with that attitude, it's not racism because it's not a fucking race. It's on the verge between xenophobia and discrimination.
Dat racist attitude.

Yo, racism isn't fucking funny, and neither is telling Mac users to get a "real computer". Shut your face. Waiting for a source, too.
Really? Fucking really? Come on, Khazaee is an Iranian name so maybe, just maybe, seeing if he has any ties to Iran isn't such an outlandish idea. (hint, 99.9999% chance they did do exactly that) What's his story? Who's he related to? How and why did he come to the country? If I was in charge of that sort of stuff, and a North Korean guy was being looked into for clearance, I'd be scrutinizing his background with double the effort of some guy from fucking Nebraska, that's for sure. Especially if his escape story was something that struck me as more bullshit than a heart-warming, extraordinary miracle. Call me racist, call it profiling, but I wouldn't be paid for patting asses and making people feel good, I'd be paid for keeping shit secure. Sorry if it hurts your view of the world, but it was an Iranian guy who got busted, while going to Iran, for attempting to transmit sensitive information to the Iranians. Shit. Happens. Hate it however much you want, but there isn't anything wrong with calling a spade a spade. I'd bet that the people in charge of vetting this guy looked for an Iranian connection, probably because he's fucking Iranian! Maybe his story was so tight that they didn't see it, or maybe he was an upstanding guy all these years and randomly decided to hand over F-35 specs because doesn't like Obamacare or some shit. We don't know, and we probably won't for awhile, if at all.
I saw an episode of an customs thing where another guy did a similar thing but on a much smaller scale, and the thought occurred to me then as it does now, why not just fucking scan them an email them rather than trying to physically take them, sure it'd take a long ass time, but still.
Join date elitism. Stay classy facepunch
Join date elitism is so overrated.
Join date elitism. Stay classy facepunch
lol 08'er
If the trainwreck that is the RnD of the f-35 is anything to go by, giving Iran the blueprints would probably be a tactically smart move.
All that radar evasion would be useful for the Iranians. However what is their air force? Aren't they using cold-war era MiGs?
shut up tail-ender wait fuck im not on my 06er this is embarrassing
you must be proud
