It most definitely was. She rear ended him, that's the end of it. Sounded like this to me, the red car being hers and her clipping the bumper somewhere on the green, being his.

Yeah my father and me got rear ended after seeing a Paul McCartney concert and the lady tried to fight it saying we stopped in front of her. What actually happened was we were stationary in a merging lane trying to get into traffic and she tore around the corner like a bat out of hell and hit us. My father ended up going to court and it wasn't much of a fight. The court usually favors the person with rear damage, on top of that their was a police testimony by a cop who was guiding traffic who confirmed we were at a stop before she hit us.

Being filmed immortalizes your actions, and if you do something stupid or rude or regrettable it will be displayable to the entire world until the end of time, open to harassment, mocking, and ridicule.
You wouldn't enjoy that feeling very much, especially if you already have a bad life.

Any damage to bumpers will easily cause more than $500 bucks worth of damage. About $150 for new bumper cover, $100-200 for painting it, and $500+ labor cost is what any damage to a bumper will generally cost you.
