Because he is not reviewing a game but instead telling his childhood memories about it ? He is currently in LA shooting the AVGN movie.
Play Super Double Dragon and you pretty much have the same essential base mechanics Tekken has been using since the beginning. Staggers, Hi/Low/Mid, interrupt/clean counter damage, ikari/netsu mode, 1 hit unblockables, transition hits, and bounce/impact juggles.
