Of all the things they could have drawn, they poorly draw a smiley face? I mean at least it wasn't a giant cock or a swastika but come on.
Well, at the least the rock seems to be pretty happy about it.
looks sorta cute imo
Is it chalk?
Looks like the cavemen have returned to finish their art.
Clearly whoever did this needs to be crushed by the rock as a form of punishment.
just paint the whole rock white
Reminded me of crater face
He looks like he's trying really hard to smile, despite being terribly lonely

Its a fucking rock. Who gives a fuck.
well now in a million years people will be like holy crap that smiley face is really old i wonder who put it there
I kind of like it more now.
To tell you the truth, if I came upon a rock like that, I wouldn't be able to see the significance of it.
death penalty
Come on, guys; I'd expect ignorance of history from Americans, but everyone should understand the significance of old shit like this. [editline]27th June 2013[/editline] My Americans quip was a joke, chaps, don't take it too seriously.

It's creepy as shit.

Whenever something truly historical is defaced, it really doesn't matter. It just adds to that item's history. We don't want to admit it, but one day our lifestyle will be told about in textbooks.

I mean, it's not been crushed or stolen unlike some of the historical areas in every major city that are torn down without so much as a marker.
Looks like the cavemen have returned to finish their art.
Pfff, please, they would massacre the artist for using modern art.
I think we should keep it. I mean its not the Stonehenge or anything important. 1000 years from people will wonder why that rock is smiling.
And in a thousand years where people think this is old as time itself some vandals will come and remove the smiley face and be thrown in jail
Wouldn't weathering wear it off within a couple of years anyway
