I visited a Rave last Friday (i think?? time has been fucked up for me lately) and I was with about five other people. I was wandering around, met one of the DJs, saw one of my best friends from elementary school (he was fucked right out of his tree) and all whilst this was happening, two of the people I was with, who were wandering around the parking area were offered mentos. As you've probably guessed, these were no ordinary mentos. They were drugged, with something, and on the carride back is when it started hitting these two individuals. I have absolutely no idea what it could be, but here is a description of the effects: -strong visuals. on the carride home one of them said the road was waving quite a lot, and in a rhythm. -clear, nearly sober headspace. if they were not remarking about the hallucinations, i would have no idea they were on something. things I noted to help narrow down the list of possibilities: -no vasoconstriction was observed -effects lasted 7-10 hours, however this may have been compounded by secondary drug use/drinking. -obviously, the drug had to be of a low recreational index, being able to be dripped onto a mento. another possibility is that the mento was just a pressed powder, but it was actually in the mentos package so i doubt this. almost immediatly i suspected some sort of research chemical. I don't have any first hand experience with research chemicals, so I was wondering if I could ask the more learned in that area for some help identifying or narrowing down a list of what drug this could've been. I'm in the process of getting whatever more information I can from the two people. thanks a lot. also I guess this thread can be used for a general unknown drug/psychadelic/research chemical discussion.

This sounds pretty similar to my New Years experience. We each ate 5 tabs of what we thought was acid. Tripped for a few hours then came down. I still haven't found out what was on them. Our tabs had a bitter/metallic taste like anubis is talking about. After doing my research I found out thats no bueno.
pretty much what anubis said, sounds a lot like one of the NBOMes. Usually they're bitter but the mentos could have masked the taste. However for the NBOMes you're supposed to hold them up against your gum for a while, although apparently if they are in HCL form they become orally active.
To be fair you can never actually know unless you test it, this will be a thread of all speculation and no answers. Theres a reason bluelight doesn't allow threads like these and its cause they go nowhere.
Yeah you'll pretty much never know unless you find those same dealers and ask about/test their product.
Sounds just like 25c considering the length of the trip
I'll have to revise a statement I made, the guy said the trap lasted about 7-10 hours.
3-4 hours is what I've gotten from all 25Xs (not including redosing. Tripped for a solid 18 with redosing). What you said nearly perfectly describes a 25X. Don't retract your initial statement just because one of your friends experienced it differently. Not many drugs can be dosed like that. He's probably just full of shit like 99% of drug users. [editline]5th July 2014[/editline] Also, the absence of vasoconstriction can be attributed to the alcohol (which is a vasodilator)
Ah, I never thought of alcohol's vasoconstriction. Makes perfect sense then, very interesting. The guy was just giving these mentos out by the way, he wasn't a dealer as far as i know.
probably a placebo tbh
probably a placebo tbh
oh man I do wish full fledged visual distortions could be caused by a mentos placebo.
I wish people would tell you what you are ingesting. I had a really bad experience with fake acid that somehow tested positive, and my extremities felt numb etc and various feelings of death.
