This video breaks down and helped me understand it by the numbers. I don't know how this will be received here.
It's not going to be received well as long as you take sources from The Rebel.
Just the name of that news site warrants doubt in their credibility.
Also the claim isn't that those groups won't ever vote for him. They just generally are repulsed by him. IIRC if only black people, hispanics, black women, latino women etc voted, Hillary would have had such a crushing landslide that Trump probably would probably break down crying during his concession speech.
And sure the percentage of those voters he got was up compared to Romney, but it may very well be that those demographics just didn't vote compared to last election for democrats, and instead stayed home. That would make his percentage points shoot up.
Well, they aren't fabricating the numbers. They are taking them from the New York Times. This is an analysis.
I mean, it's not surprising. People vote against their interests all the time.
I don't understand what this video is trying to prove? Throughout history, there are people who go against their interests because they're indoctrinated by whoever is providing those interests or idiotically think those interests will in fact help them. There were black soldiers who fought for the confederacy in the US Civil War, does that mean that the southern government weren't a bunch of racist fucks who supported the enslavement of an entire race of people? FUCK NO. Hell, the majority of Trump supporters voted against their interest because Trump's economic policies do not help the poor in the slightest.
PROOF

This reminds me of this one onion article titled "Only News Source Man Trusts Has Logo Of Eyeball In Crosshairs"

Who are you to say what their interests are
-snip-
Something about seeing people boycotting content they are interested in simply because "the author is known to be close minded and biased" screams irony.

Or maybe they realized that voting for a deceptive two-faced candidate that wants to fight russia while running on celebrity endorsements and being progressive is total bullshit?
Nah, they just voted against their own interests.

I mean I know there are reasons people voted for Trump because they couldn't trust Hillary, but I think that idea on its face is pretty ridiculous. It doesn't make any sense.

As much as I find the name cringey aswell, his analysis isn't wrong.
Trump did do better with minorities than before and maybe people should learn why that happened.
