Trading Bibles for Porn? - General

This is happening in my city. Tbh, I have respect for any and all religious (and non-religious) groups using different tactics to educate people, but giving people pornography in exchange for religious texts? That's a sleazy trick, and is something I would expect from a group like PETA. Their reasoning is that it's "smut for smut", because of all the violence, rape, sex, blahblah in the bible, but pornography was made for someone to derive sexual pleasure from. Religious texts are not. If they're taking in religious texts becaue it's "smut", they might as well take a good portion of literature as well. Anyways, I just think there are better ways they could do something like this. It's causing a huge uproar around here and a lot of friendships are being screwed over because of it. Which is extremely sad. But eh, I talked enough about this with a few friends of mine who go to UTSA, and even some of the athiests agree that there could have been a better way that this could've been done. I'm just wondering what the outcome of it will be. A hugely divided campus, I'm willing to bet. Of course, I get rated dumb by anti-theists.
