The "wild blue yonder" could be destined to protect us, and argue with Arthur, again. The 2001 live-action series "The Tick" starring Patrick Warburton may get another chance to gain a whole new legion of fans thanks to a new deal with Amazon Studios. The superhero comedy series based on the 1980s comic book by Ben Edlund only lasted nine episodes before Fox Network canceled it. Previously during the 1990s, "The Tick" was a successful animated series before becoming a short-lived live-action TV show on Fox. However this time, if "The Tick" airs online, its fate will be decided by Amazon Studios customers who get to vote, instead of a fickle network executive.
http://www.cnet.com/news/the-tick-live-action-series-to-return-on-amazon/
The will be good hopefully.
Oh man, I remember watching episodes of the animated series when I was younger. I've never seen the live-action stuff before, though.
make it dark and gritty
And then, nigger attack! This show was okay.
I watched it when I was littler, loved it. But, you know how things are when you are a child. Still, Patrick Warburton.
Patrick Warburton is always a plus to have.
I vaguely remember this show.
I loved both the cartoon and the live action show I think, they made me laugh a lot
I watched the live action show expecting something off the wall and zany like the animated series. I was extremely disappointed that it basically turned out to be Seinfeld, But With Super Heroes. Maybe it won't be as dull this time, especially since I've come to terms that nothing will ever be like the The Tick animated series.
Change Bat Manuel and Lady Liberty back to Die Fleidermaus and American Maid, and I'm fucking sold.
Only watched the animated series. Loved it when I was younger.
make it dark and gritty
Christopher Nolan as the director with Hans Zimmer making the soundtrack.
For those mythical people who never heard of the Tick or its TV series, Patrick Warburton also voiced Brock Samson in The Venture Bros.

As long as the Deadly Bulb makes an appearance, I'm in. I would be happier if more cartoons were made but this will do.
