This smells like bullshit. I don't see the progression in their tech demos.

There's so many unnecessary jump-cuts, it hurts me to watch this. I'll eat my hat if this whole thing is legit and actually turns out okay.
Technically the way he's describing the isometric world and world loading makes some sense. His demos aren't much more than "hey can use html5 and a server to communicate between two devices" and a set of placeholder art. I admire his passion, but who knows if anything will ever come of this. The vision right now seems to be along the lines of Age of empires where you control a single villager.
