• HL2, Zelda Mod

Don't get your hopes up just yet after reading the title... I've been a big fan of the HL2 series and all the different mods for it, some major ones like Counter Strike Source and Gmod, but also many third party mods like PVK, and zombie panic. If there is one thing I realized playing these mods, is that, a Zelda mod would kick some major @$$, the engine is so robust and could really make a awesome Zelda Mod. My question is this... who thinks they can help? I am personally a Mapper, but I also have skills with porting weapons and changing minor game scripts, I also do stand still modeling like statues with google sketch up and port them into hammer. Now in all honesty the majority of things are already out there, Zelda Models, Link Models, Master Sword Models, Hylian Shield Models, all but maps. From my past experience of changing and coding weapons, it seems that there wouldn't be much programming to do, seeing as the majority of weapons are already out there, all the melee ones can be modeled, and things like the bow can be ported from the Huntsmen from TF2. Last thing I am going to say is that, this doesn't need to be a full Half Life 2 mod, which would take some serious time, it could be something as simple as a Gmod mod, and then have the maps connected like the way Half Life 2 does there story with the maps. This could make it seriously sick like this, because you could have a retarded amount of bonus quests with some simple global variables that are applied to all the maps. If you can Map, Model, Code, Texture ( WANTED BADLY ), then please post. I will host a Website and a forum, the Website from my server and most likely a free BBS forum. So if you think this would be sick, and you want to help reply and/or e-mail me at anarcheril@gmail.com with some information about yourself. you can also add me on steam xanarcherilx I have been mapping for 4 years, and doing minor modding for about 2, I've owned a website for 3 years and have been using adobe flash for 7 years. Sadly I tried putting ubuntu on my PC a couple months ago and I killed my hard drive when I tried to partition it. So I lost a retarded amount of mapping data and little flash projects, than I slammed my head on the wall when I realized I could have put everything on my server. So if your interested I will give you some screenie's of my maps I've done between that time. But I don't feel like finding them and loading them onto photobucket because right now I'm really pumped about this.
