How much is Amazon Prime again?
Between this show, The Tick, and Jean Claude Van Johnson... man, I'm having some serious second thoughts.
I'm just about to take the plunge.
How much is Amazon Prime again?
Its like £8.99 a month here in the UK some shows cost money per season like you have to buy newer seasons for a couple of quid but the Grand Tour is currently no charge if you subscribe.

$100 a year or $10.99 a month
Unless you're a student then it is $50 a year
Been driving the F-type Jaaaaag in Horizon 3, couldn't be more pumped.
I love that it's essentially Top Gear in HD, couldn't be more excited for this. Hopefully they come out on Blu-Ray.
The camera work is beautiful
So fucking hyped

it's amazing what a real budget not strung together by british taxes can do for production value. each shot looks so fucking good.

BE THERE, OR BE SQUARE LADS
I wonder if the show will have a theme that is as good as Top Gear's

Looks amazing, too bad amazon prime isn't available for europeans.
Damn this looks fantastic. This might actually be better than Clarkson Top Gear
So they had a camera upgrade, huh?

Top Gear has always been praised for excellent camera work so its no wonder that one of the first decisions would probably be to upgrade to newer cameras, perhaps 4K even.
Super hyped for this, seems that their humor is still fully intact

Also trailer music

i believe it will be licensed out where prime is not available

4K HDR was a requirement for Amazon, IIRC.
Holy shit, the production value. It looks like a movie masterpiece throughout. :v:
Urgh, its annoying now that its Amazon prime only, not really ready to subscribe for just 1 show (plus already have netflix)

On the page for amazon prime video it has a thing that says it's free with prime, or £5.99 a month. So I think you can pay less and get just the video section.
I mean I don't use amazon enough to need prime, but I would be more than happy to wait for the show to finish airing weekly and pay £6 to binge watch the whole thing.
They still haven't announced how to watch it in Australia, Our Amazon literally only sells ebooks.
You know, i wouldn't mind paying for Amazon Prime if Amazon actually had its store open in the Netherlands, now they only sell e-books.
Though they did mention that they will bring Prime Video to the Netherlands at (really fucking) hopefully a reduced rate, i'd pay 5 euro for it per month for sure.
My my my, this is gonna be awesome. Top Gear lives on, under a new name, on a new network.

Which is funny, because even with the Beeb's budget they had some damn good camerawork on the show. Makes me wonder just how much of the TG crew followed the trio to Amazon.

I remember it being reported back when this was starting out that quite a number were made offers to follow.
As far as i know, Netflix made a offer but Amazon simply had a better offer
I'm not a fan of Top Gear, but this one had me interested.
My only hope for this is that they still do stuff like the Vietnam and Africa specials. Supercars and hypercars are nice and all but the show would be remiss without stuff like this

i think it's quite obvious by the trailer that they're going to continue doing stuff in the same vein as the specials
