support your fellow facepunchers, this is a serious matter
This fucking horrified me.
god the coffee part scared the living shit out of me
Thread title is a joke obviously, i felt really bad for the girl. also might actually put things in perspective for people who mock autism (HINT FACEPUNCH)
That music must be the same guy as dead island.
god the coffee part scared the living shit out of me
it had a transition how could it possibly scare you
This is pretty accurate, mainly the part where she starts to spaz out and tip drinks over. That happens with me alot when I am extremely stressed.
So is this a café for autistic people?
so the majority of /v/ experiences this on a daily basis? I'm so sorry
This was beautiful shot and edited.
I'm not autistic (don't think so, huehue) but this in someways resonates with me in a personality way. The way she is all there and speaking mentally without actually communicating it. The video really builds that stress and anxiety well. At the same time you can see her family tries to do what they can.
Kind of depressing yet really beautiful video in how it portrays that.
The fuck, looks like a full-colour replacement for the video in 'The Ring'.
That coffee part.
I have aspergers, guess I must have it even more minor on the autism spectrum than I thought because apparently when you really really have it reality starts fucking breaking down
this feels more like paranoid schizophrenia than autism

is that a doctors diagnosis?
aspergers seems to be a popular self diagnosis on the internet these days. theres not much clarity separating neurological and learned behavior when it comes to disorders
Most self-diagnosed autist are just introvert.
Oh jesus. The stares. I feel like a terrible person now.
I have a doctor's diagnosis of mild aspergers but I try to socialize as much as possible and get out of my comfort zone as much as I can - it's the only way you improve things.
Mild asspieness is nothing compared to full on autism though
This is what happens when you give an autistic person hot chocolate you sick fucks
Most self-diagnosed autist are just introvert.
why he hell would you self diagnose yourself with this
I guess for some it's an excuse for being lazy and never trying to socialize
Some people want an explanation for why they find socializing exhaustingly difficult, and why other people really enjoy socializing.
People just want to know why they are how they are, I guess.

People in general like labels and hate abstractions - they enjoy knowing what and who they are and find it convenient to have something to fall back on when people ask them why they are the way they are.
Knowing who you are, where you're headed and what's going to happen in no uncertain terms makes people feel more secure; it's the reason why people form cliques around say a genre of music and why organized religion is so popular.

Holy shit that's not autism that's fucking schizophrenia (and terrifying)
Why was there the Decartes picture with a Tesla quote?
Someone needs a dentist. Fast.
Say that close to me and you'll need one. Working with people or having people with autism in the family is constant work and especially emotional work.
You need to make it so that they are in their comfort zone in order not to mess things up for them and understand the way they react and why.

yes it is
I hate how thanks to asshats who want an excuse for shitty social skills or whatever I have to go "No really guys Doc said so" every time I say I have aspergers
