After 17 years in development, hopefully it would have been worth the weight.
Lol those classes fit perfectly with the voices.
Anyone who disagreed is smoking to much crack.
At first i thought this was some sort of SFM thing jesus
I love the pan sounds for the hammer
The fact that he had to use a voice for more than one class...
I mean, this is Blizzard we're talking about. It's not just a TF2 Clone.

Robot Aang isn't really anything like the Pyro tho.

It's pretty accurate. Blizzard just split up the abilities of many of the TF2 classes, and as a result there are wayyy too many characters. And then there ist he fact that most of Blizzard's video wasn't even at 30fps.

Oooorrr... TF2 intentionally took the most archetypical character types and balanced them out. TF2 didn't do anything new when it comes to classes.
If you look at Dota, LoL, or any game with multiple classes/roles, youll find you can see nearly all of them resembling certain TF2 characters.

The thing is that TF was way ahead of other games even though it started out as a quake mod
Looks incredibly generic and catering to the Asian crowd to me.

It's a clone because only TF2 is allowed to have classes and cartoony art styles, even though it didn't invent classes and cartoony art syles.

But there's only one Asian character, only one map?

Talking more about the general sci-fi + cutesy anime faces style.
Anime? It's far more pixar-esque than anime.
Is it just me or was that video very choppy.
A sniper class with the ability to wall-hack, children are gonna rage. :v:

Honestly it's more Disney CGI than anime.

Butt enhance.
I wonder if it'll get any shit or praise JUST because of women characters?
You all know it's gonna happen soon :v:
i have never been so uninterested in a game before in my entire life
i honestly can't understand how they didn't stop at some point to think "okay maybe this doesn't look very interesting".
this game looks really boring and generic
outsourced to china

How do you even screw up an animation this badly, put it in your very important presentation trailer and not notice?

I beg to differ. I think this could be the interesting game out of a bunch of wannabes.
I definatly like the Character design.
Specially the fucking Scandinavian Dwarf Engineer.
It might be fun to play for all i know but i really dislike the character design, feels like a bunch of random shit thrown in together and none of it looks particularly interesting.
Ya know, unique character designs and voices are cool, but without any personality to go with it why even bother? You have a variety of cool ass characters with awesome designs, but say the most boring and cringey shit and just have the overall personality of a lamp pole.

Then again we haven't even played this game, so we shouldn't think of it like that.
I mean I already like that Cute Brit chick with the teleport thing going on.

that's kind of how i felt about Titanfall. Awesome designs, cool concept, but without a story there it just feels incomplete. which is why i hope they put more effort into making an actual campaign mode instead of "play 3 hours of attrition mode but with a tiny video in the corner of random people talking about stuff you dont care about"
even if the story is just call of duty-tier, it's better than nothing. at least i get to play through some hella bad-ass scripted events that couldn't happen in multiplayer

Because the voice of a chubby texas dude fits great on a fit black girl.
This game is only just going into closed beta. We can already see the start of personalities within the characters, but at the moment characters aren't their main concern, they're probably more focused on getting the game playing well, and will look in to making the characters personalities more complex at a later date. This isn't a commercial release trailer, it's an announcement, because of that, I'd say it's kind of unfair to compare this to that of a trailer for a finished product. If we look into this early trailer for TF2, we see the mercs have very little in the way of personality, as TF2 was still in beta, like Overwatch is now.
