Main card
Heavyweight - Mirko (Cro Cop) Filipovic vs. Frank Mir
Light Heavyweight - Antonio Rogerio Nogueira vs. Ryan Bader
Welterweight - Chris Lytle vs. Matt Serra
Lightweight - Evan Dunham vs. Sean Sherk
Lightweight - Melvin Guillard vs. Jeremy Stephens
Prelims on SPIKE
Middleweight - C.B. Dollaway vs. Joe Doerksen
Heavyweight - Joey Beltran vs. Matt Mitrione
------------------
The fight was already leaning towards Mir, but now with Cro-Cop's injured eye I can't see the Croatian taking this one. He accepted the fight on last minute notice and hasn't been able to train properly like he did against Pat Barry, then he gets injured.
Mir via anything he wants
The Bader/Lil'Nog fight will be so fucking great though. It may be the best fight this year, I can see it going to decision.
Who do you got? I have:
Mir
Bader
Dunham
Lytle
Guillard
C.B. Dollaway
Mitrione
(and for anyone who bets on the unaired prelims, but sure to put a fiver down for Pat Audinwood, some sites have him at +400 and I think he can easily win the fight)
Well... I would've said Cro Cop, as since just before the Barry fight, he is in a much better place mentally and his training has picked up dramatically since he's started training in the Netherlands.
However yes, an eye injury could potentially compromise him in this fight, depending on what exactly said injury is.
Objectively, Mir's a fucking dreamer. He thinks he has great standup, when in reality it's very mediocre. His jiu jitsu is great, but Cro Cop's is very, very underrated and Cro Cop is more than capable of handling anything Mir can do. Cro Cop has great TD defense as well, Mir's dreaming again if he thinks he's going to take him down.
I say Cro Cop via TKO (strikes). Although I'm not denying the prospect of Mir landing a lucky heavy hand. Cro Cop's biggest problem has always been his mental game, so let's hope he comes in the same happy, hard training chappy he was in the Barry.
Speaking of Barry, that dude is going to fucking rock the HW division in the future, mark my words.
I think I would have picked Cro-Cop if he had the fight on more long notice. At his stage in the game he needs a lot of training like he had in the Barry fight. Word is that he is training like he used to train right now though.
Mir is a dreamer though, his standup is middling and he thinks he's god's gift to striking in the Heavyweight division. But he has excellent Jiu Jitsu that he actually uses with a strong wrestling base. He's very methodical and can easily make a 5 minute round feel like 20 minutes. My prediction for the fight goes 2 ways:
1) Mir decides to stand with Cro-Cop and lands a nice straight for the TKO (one thing that is good about Mir's standup is his straights)
2) Mir takes Cro-Cop down and wears him out in round 1, then finished in round 2
I'd love to see Mir get ktfo though. I don't hate Mir, I actually like him as a fighter a lot, but I would love for Cro-Cop to land a kick and win it.
Cro-cop all the way.
Cro Cop's eye isn't injured...
Cro Cop's eye isn't injured...
actually it is but he got cleared. Just because he got cleared doesn't mean it's still not an injury. Apparently it still looks pretty bad and he has been wearing sunglasses since arriving to Indiana.
UFC is for faggots real men watch ultimate surrender
im watching dream 16 right now is anyone else watching it
Dream 16 is on? Nice!
I have Mir, sadly. Cro-cop isn't that old decapitator anymore, but I'd like one last LHK KO.
I think Bader's going to stop Nog, and I have Serra, Dunham and Stephens.

Dream 16 was a lot of fun. Sakuraba really needs to retire though.
anyone have a stream? pm me
No, please just post it, I would like to know too. Also, any free HD streams?
No such thing as HD free streams.
Man I was so wrong about Audinwood, what a shame
Well, is there any streams up that are good?

Great, the veetle thing is not working.
What an awesome night of fights so far! Hope Sherk vs Dunham AND Chris Lytle vs Matt Serra get FOTN
I'm loving the fights, just bummed they're all ending in Judge's Decision.
I feel sad for the people who paid money for this, the main event is so boring, cro cop is just pushing him after every punch (if they ever punch). I was expecting more from Cro Cop.

HOLY SHIT, Mir just knocked out Cro Cop. I don't think Cro Cop should be in MMA anymore.
I loved this UFC, very exciting except for the main event.

Cro Cop would of also been finished by Barry if Barry would of went for the kill.
"It's like there's a silent agreement to keep the aggression to a minimum."
"The good thing is there's only 2 minutes left."
"If I was at home I'd be going for a potato chip."
"Who's winning this fight? Not the fans."
Some great Joe Rogan quotes during the main event.
Nice KO by Mir though, I was really hoping Cro Cop would get the KO and retire on a high note.
Cro Cop. Not the same man he was a few years ago.
I'm sad. Mir probably thinks he's the best thing since sliced bread now, even though his performance was just as lacklustre, if not worse, considering he's the younger man.
Damn it, Mirko's been sucking for quite a while, it seems.

He had flashes of his old brilliance in the Barry fight, but that's not really much to say when you consider that Barry broke his hand and foot in the first round.
Frank Mir.
Cause I owned my friends in UFC Undisputed 2010 with him. :v:
Cro Cop is past his prime.
This was a painful event to watch.
Shit judging. Not spectacular fights, and the worst Main Event in recent memory.
I was just thinking... I know Cro-Cop should retire as a fighter now, but if he feels up to it maybe throw him in there against Mitrione. If Mitrione wins then it will really boost him up there in the mid-card, and if Cro-Cop wins then at least he'll leave on a high note (and it won't hurt Mitrione's standing in the UFC that much).
My god, that was an atrocious fight. I was laughed a great laugh. when Mir knocked Cro-Cop out.
