This trailer was... kinda shit.
All Out War is hands down the best material the comics have and if they fuck it up, they are screwed. Everything after AOW is slow as hell for awhile so they seriously can't afford to mess this up.
Here's hoping they increased the budget, last season's was abysmal judging by what we saw.
Holy hell what a bad trailer
Really poor pacing on the trailer's part. It took too long to get to the climax, and after that it just felt like a fan-made thing.
Can't wait for another 40 minutes of discussing their feelings with the nuance of toddlers, followed by 5 minutes of cliff-hanger action every week!
Christ, even FTWD is surpassing this show now.
FTWD is actually good though
Did I fucking make this trailer in high school? It feels like a fan trailer
The first few minutes is literally random shots from the show with sticks clicking in the background. What. That doesn't emote any feelings whatsoever.
i fucking lost it when the trailer started cutting between boring shots of people standing around lmao
minor twd comic spoilers [sp] although i admit the final thing with what i assume is the tv show version of rick after the timeskip got me a bit giddy. why does this show do this to me. i love the comic so much so i keep watching but the show constantly lets me down. [/sp]

Nah.
FTWD is actually good though
I think people are disagreeing with you because of the first two seasons:
FTWD had a great premise, showing the first few days of zombies beginning, however they then skipped it. Which people didn't like.
It sas still decent, season two was better than the first season, but still took awhile to get great.
I agree with you though:
Season 3 is just the best season of either show. They hired brand new writers and it's really paid off a lot.
S3 of FTWD has been so good, every episode has been good, even the bottle episode was great.
S3 is definitely worth watching, Madison(the mom) is such an amazing character. And they actually had a surprise moment that I didn't see coming near the beginning of the season.
S3 FTWD > Any TWD season for sure
Can anyone bring me up to speed? I dropped the show after 2 seasons because I'm not interested in character drama. What could they possibly do for 8 seasons? LOST was a clusterfuck in the end and they only did 6. And LOST had much more story to explore than just zombies.

The story is about the people. The zombies just add a dynamic that changes how the people make choices. It isn't any different from other long shows about people in that way.
Also, that trailer was hot garbage.
The clicking sticks totally sounds like Steve Reich. I'm glad I jumped ship after season 4 -- doesn't look like the show is doing too well.
Also what the fuck was that first part about shitting pants
Man I'm glad I stopped watching after season 3
the show was pretty good up until m'ask you something *rubs head* was killed
Made it to season 4 to which i thought to myself why am i even watching it, i am not even really 'involved' into the characters anymore so i'm just watching it for the watered down drama.
Shame though, would have loved a good zombie TV serie where it was more about surviving and perhaps finding a cure rather then the drama but afaik The Walking Dead has always been about the characters themselves rather then the world around them.
twd annoys me because rick is obviously the most unhinged of the entire group and for some reason every one keeps putting him in charge nothing ever works out i wouldve left his ass a long time ago
I am so fucking mad they spoiled the end of the war
we're gonna see [sp] the whisperers [/sp] by the end of the season goddammit why did the BUILD UP to the war have to be a full season?
If you hadn't said anything I doubt anyone who hadn't read the comics would have known. I still have no idea what part you're talking about
Most people I know dropped this show after the trainwreck that is season 7.
I don't see thins bringing anyone back.
I don't know what everyone's complaining about tbh.
Everyone knows to win everyone back you need to have poorly edited, confusing scenes which mislead the tone while blasting Dropkick Murphys.
I don't think walking dead has ever had a good trailer tbh.
I've been watching The walking dead since Season 1 Episode 1. And it's been a blast going through their adventures on the road, finding different kinds of psychopaths and dealing with them. I must say that the last season was kind of boring, but I will never say that the show is bad.
