Played that shit all the time.

flatout2 is a race game based exclusively on physics instead of scripts . Thats why its so good.

does this imply other racing games are based entirely on 'scripts'? i'm confused

no not all, they still use physics of course, but the scripts is what defines almost everything. In flatout2 its the other way around

I think he might mean that while games like forza and gran turismo are based on just the actual driving, flatout focuses more on the environment and destruction of it/other players like burnout paradise.
i'm really confused it's like we're talking about physics as though it isn't 'scipts' and like things such as ai and driving physics fall under some sort of category called 'scripts'... it's all programming, it's all the same

[sub][sub]I'm not really sure what he means when he says "scripts" either[/sub][/sub]

You get the one map (that's in the video) and one character. You gotta buy everything else separately.

piece of shit, sucks that the dlc model got the norm.
I pretty much never played stunts. The actual game is where it's at.
Saints Row The Third-s Insurance Fraud mode is also really fun. Has that awesome ragdoll function and everything.
Sucks that Flatout 3 is a lame piece of shit
I put so many hours into 1 and 2 on PS2
Ragdoll physics were mindblowing
