It was recently reported that rapper 50 Cent is very close to reaching settlement in his bankruptcy case, which would see him pay his creditors to whom he owes upwards of $28 million. With this, there is another major point of contention for Judge Ann Nevins. Apparently, 50’s Instagram posts over the past few months flaunting his cash has irked the court. The rapper’s attorney said earlier this week that the money is not real. Today, TMZ has released audio from the court house which find Fif’s representatives explaining to Judge Nevins that their client must appear to be rich in order to please his fans, while also maintaining his personal brand.
I’m not going to ask you whether you listen to his music or have seen his videos or anything like that, but if you look at Mr. Jackson or other Hip Hop artists, they’re aspirational,” one of the lawyers says. “They come from poverty. Many of their fans are poor. They want their favorite rapper to be rich. Money is important to them. You look at his pre bankruptcy persona, look at some of the videos, money is important. Filing the bankruptcy by definition presented a real challenge as to how it’s going to be handled.
When asked whether or not his posts might have been seen as offensive to the court and the proceedings, another one of 50’s reps offered an explanation.
I could understand why it would inflame creditors of the estate, but I think they’re sophisticated. They now appreciate what’s one person’s inflammation is another one’s way of maximizing recovery,” the lawyer says. “If Mr. Jackson conducted himself say with more discretion, more tact, he wouldn’t be getting people endorsing him for high premium items. He wouldn’t be getting movie parts. He wouldn’t be having great roles on TV.

If that was true he'd be doing many fan a disservice. He'd essentially be telling them they don't need to do well in school or whatever to succeed, only learn how to rap.
Why would they see financial inspiration in a guy dubbed 50 cent?
50 cent can suck it, we all prefered him when he was some jerk off the street telling the truth, now it's just "ayy money and bitches lool"
Should've just came clean with it, now he's just pissing off his fans with those statements.

Are you serious dude? That isn't the point at all
He got me on this one
I mean isnt this fucking common sense? they market an image for the celebrity
Rappers don't make themselves look rich to inspire others. That's bullshit. It's more like a dick measuring contest. The more money you have, the more records you sold and thus the better a rapper you are. That's why there's so many feuds in the rap industry, why rappers have so much bling and gold shit, and why everything is about bitches and hoes. The better a rapper you are = the more money you have = the more bitches and hoes want to ride your dick.
By announcing he's broke, 50 cent might as well have made a press statement to the industry that he has a three inch dick. Their wealth = status/reputation. So these pics of him swimming in a pile of money is basically him saying "I'm broke (but not really)" to protect his big dog status/reputation in the industry. A broke rapper = a shitty rapper.

the "I first heard about rap 12 hours ago" view on rap
the "I first heard about rap 12 hours ago" view on rap
he's got one angle of it down, there's more to the story than that but its a good reason why 50 is doing it
reputation is money, no one wants to sling rocks with a has-been rapper.

i too, would not "sling the rocks" with anyone less than a multi-millionaire
Note that this isn't neccesarily true, remember when pharell williams had to tell the judge he couldn't read music to prove that he didn't copy a song

A pop producer not being able to read sheet music is very plausible though
what's with the random links in the OP? they link to the FP main page, but they have that adword-type feel you see on sketchy sites
I have adware on my computer that I cannot get rid of. It makes everything from Facepunch posts - to other websites - have certain keywords highlighted linking to advertisement sites.

Try spybot search and destroy and see if that works, if not then reinstall Windows. That shit's damaging.

I used every piece of anti-adware/spyware/malware software I could find and I could not get rid of it. I spent days and days trying to remove it.
Then I Google'd the name of this stupid virus and came across their website. In it, was a friendly button to deactivate the ads permanently.

Friendly guy, you can tell he really cares

Ah the wonders of "legitimate" malware. Have you tried malwarebytes though? It has a "Potentially Unwanted Program" category that scans for things that aren't technically viruses, but act like adware.

That was the first thing I did.
That was the first thing I did.
It was probably a browser extension and you probably still have it, even if it is deactivated. Check your addons.

Malwarebytes doesn't tag non-illegal addons.
I already checked my browser extensions and addons. I also checked my installed programs. I did everything you would have suggested me to have done; I am not computer illiterate.
