django unchained happens in the 1800s so it's kind of a factually accurate movie where this is just straight up "YOU'RE BLACK YOU'VE PROBABLY BEEN TO PRISON" and then yeah the black guy did in fact go to prison

That would be the best and most ironic ending, but I doubt that they'd manage something like that considering the usual quality of these kinds of movies.
The gardener i recognize from eastbound and down. Perhaps he has a bigger role?
Calling that they both end up going to jail in the end.
