This isn't how you take criticism. Honestly, you took the time to do a five minute pivot animation; move up to Flash.
As for the video, it was pretty bad man. I mean jesus, :18 to :43 seconds in was a still fucking frame.

Another one of these people who posts their work and then pretends to think it sucks when they don't get the feedback they want.
Here's my stereotypical response: Why post your work when you think it sucks?
Holy shit I've not seen a pivot in like, forever.
The animation really wasn't [I]that[/I] bad. However a number of the scenes were stills. Doing stills in an animation program seems a tad counter-intuitive.
Use of sound effects was accurate, and although it felt some animations were recycled with different backgrounds, it was still a decent short.
7/10, keep at it.

I remember that I started with Paint and windows movie maker as a kid. Then I switched to Flash and eventually I went on to do 3d Animation. I don't see the problem with messing around in pivot is a bad thing. Showing it off here might be though.
keep it up man! right now you might not have a lot to show but don't let the negative feedback crush you. keep making more, try different software and work your way up.
