It's only a 1 hour 42 minute drive.

Don't talk to people with bad teeth

wait who could you even still talk to
Get a fucking oyster card while you're there and use the underground - pretty much the only way of getting around
Also, go to the London Transport Museum
Go to Harrods and either buy an oyster card or all day passes for the tubes. I just got back from London yesterday and it was awesome. Harrods is probably the most awesome fucking store ever, they have everything you can pretty much ever think of.

I saw a fucking gold bathtub on sale there.
(funnily enough, carton'd water is less than a pound there)
Piccadilly's a nice place to spend an evening at, eye emm oh. The Natural History museum is nice, but the Sciene Museum is rather pathetic.
We'll guessing by what people usually answer to questions like this one: Just watch out for chavs and you'll be fine.
Stand still in Camden market for 5 seconds and meet a lot of friendly drug dealers.
I'd say National History Museum - but you'd waste a whole day just looking at the dinosaurs D:
Camden Market is pretty cool.
National history museum
Science museum (fucking incedible)
Blue Water -fuckton of shops
Wow I go to london all the time (even though i'm in bristol and can't think on shit)

This.
Also, the Natural History museum is by far the most interesting of the museums. The only problem is that you're only doing a weekend. I went for a week and couldn't even do 3 museums in that time.
I'd say go to the Royal Victoria Docks, but sadly there's nothing happening there at the moment so it would be a bit boring/pointless.
Go see Michael Jackson at the O2 Arena!
i'm going as well. i'm planning to PARTY HARD
Legoland.
You must go to lego land.
Go to the Waterstone's at Piccadilly Circus - it's the biggest bookshop in Europe and is amazing.
Speaker's Corner in Hyde Park is fun on a Sunday - you can hear all the crazy people ranting. Go about 12-ish.
Uhm...Tourists seem to dig Camden if they can find it. So go to Camden Market as well.

Oh, and Madame Tussauds is really expensive and the queues stretch on for ages. I wouldn't bother if you're just spending a weekend.
Besides, there are plenty of free museums - try the British Museum or if you're feeling especially cultured, the National Portrait Gallery off of Trafalgar Square.
The Imperial War Museum. :)
Go on the London eye (the big ferries wheel), thats all i can think of that no one else has said
can you believe Ive lived in England all my life (18 years) and i have still never been to London
Definitely St. James Palace, Buckingham Palace and the Guards Museum/Wellington Barracks to see the Changing of the Guards!
The Tower of London if you're interested in seeing more guards, the crown jewels and learn about the history of the tower from the ever so amusing Beefeaters!
Oh, Westfield shopping centre in Shepard's Bush is really cool and futuristic (I still squeal with delight when I see a video billboard, although loads of tube stops have them now) although kinda out of the way.
