Hello Fellow Facepuncher's :P I was doing some research about American - British Relations and History right up until the current day, Whilst discovering that the real Independence Day of America was 2nd of July 1776, I got strayed off course by the following Videos, Websites and Documentries. All pointing to the same thing. That the United States of America is technically a Corporation of Great Britain. These are my sources, It's up to you to decide what the real story is. I think that their is a distinctive possibility looking at American life today, It's not too different from Great Britain, we both speak English and are both intelligent and Advanced people. These are the sources, I insist that you check them out: Websites If Britain really owns America: http://www.abovetopsecret.com/forum/thread440626/pg1 BRITAIN OWNS AMERICA: http://sabbathrock.com/slaves.aspx Documents Great Britain owns USA: http://www.natural-person.ca/pdf/Great_Britain_owns_USA.PDF video The United States of the British Crown: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RwkQC-mRiMY The United States is not a Country: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cz4y0YuclHo&feature=related The Corporate Empire: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2FCWAUQjamk&feature=related<- Must see! :siren:Watch and Read it all before commenting, so we don't go off topic:siren: :argh: I think that it could be possible that this is true, but Americans should be glad that it is Britain and not any other country. I am in no way suggesting that any of this is true, I just found it interesting and it needed to be shared :D
How about actual evidence that the USA never gained true independence? You know, rather than links to conspiracy theorists having seizures over things they misheard in a bar once.
lol

cool i don't need to move to the UK now

But don't worry, the tower will tumble.

THE UNITED STATES IS A CORPORATION, NOT A LAND MASS
Totally reliable guys.
Totally reliable guys.
cheesedelux, I am just providing food for thought... don't bother saying I am not providing reliable sources, reliable to what exactly? I said that they were interesting not 100% true!
I see it like this: Do you need a passport to go from UK to the US and vice versa? Yes? Then the US is independent. Case closed, except if you can give me ONE land which is owned by another and yet still requires a passport to move back and forth from.
This is completely true and anyone who says otherwise is a bad person and should feel bad.
Even if by some strange circumstances America was technically still a colony of Britain it's just an odd, anecdotal technicality you might tell to your overseas friend as a joke.
Case closed, except if you can give me ONE land which is owned by another and yet still requires a passport to move back and forth from.
England -> Guernsey Guernsey-> England Done those, needed a passport. Not that I agree with this silly drivel, but that's not a good argument.
So america is part of Britain ??? Tea time
Your avatar leads me to believe you're still bothered that the USA gained independence and want the UK to claim credit for whatever the USA has achieved. Let them have it, we have our own accomplishments and more importantly we have History.

I do see a few people with union flags in their avatars for steam and Facepunch and stuff. More so than the stars and stripes, which sort of surprises me.
Dragon stop rating people dumb cause your beliefs are not proven. I feel like putting a bullet in my head cause fp turned from gaming to politics. Hell name facepunch politicspunch
the Padelford, Fay & Co. (citation) bit piqued my interest. Apparently these little sausages just latch onto whatever they can from a semi-reliable source (in this case, the Georgian Supreme Court) and manipulate it to be believable. People really need to learn the fundamentals of constitutional law.
Dragon stop rating people dumb cause your beliefs are not proven. Avatars are avatars. they prove nothing.
Even if this is true, it's akin to the war not ever really ending in Korea. We basically did gain our independence, even if we technically didn't.

British inventors have been the force behind most iconic inventions to date, why would we soil that reputation with stealing America's accomplishments? America invented the death of the world... the Atom Bomb. I'll stick to Inventing the Modern car thanks...
Who cares. Avatars are avatars. they prove nothing.
I'm just making an observation which is probably off-topic to a degree. If anything it's cheesedelux caring about the avatar, using it in part to judge the OP's attitudes and motives.
Even if this did end up being true the States would just be like, "Our nukes say otherwise." and they would be independent.
America and Britain are Brothers, no matter how stubborn you are about being American. because face it you all speak Queen's English. Another war would never happen.
...death of the world...
Even if you mined out all radioactive elements from the surface to 50 miles deep and focused the entire world's production forces into churning out nuclear weaponry you wouldn't be able to completely destroy the world. At the most you'd blow a massive chunk out of it, turn it into a molten ball of slag, and destroy all life on the planet. Our species simply isn't capable of destroying a planet.

The more we destroy nature the more possible it is that our species can destroy this planet.
because face it you all speak Queen's English.
No, I don't. I speak in one of the many North American dialects of English. Just like I don't speak middle english, nor do I speak German, nor Latin. [editline]16th October 2010[/editline]
It is possible if we over do it to our planet. The more we destroy nature the more possible it is that our species can destroy this planet.
Not really. Just because our planet is a lifeless ball of rock doesn't mean it would have been destroyed. For example, Venus and Mars. Mars is a giant barren desert, and Venus has a completely caustic atmosphere. The longer life on this planet exists, the longer technology can continue to advance. Maybe in several thousand years we could have spaceships capable of ferrying enough hydrogen gas from gas clouds in space to turn our planet into a star.
Yea....
I changed my avatar then, I didn't realise my avatar would have made people think I was biased. I just like the big kitteh on a rock.
