The study found black men and women get the lowest response rates to their messages.

Most men prefer Asian women (with the exception of Asian men,) while all women (except black women) are most drawn to white men, according to the research.
Interestingly, it found men from all racial groups tend to prefer women from races other than their own

I've always found that a major turn off. Confidence and the will to assert yourself goes a long ways toward someone being attractive for me.

it's not that the media tells men to like asian women directly, it's the way that gender roles have been established, where women are typically more submissive and men are more dominant.

the media typically portrays asians as a race in a more submissive light, and black people as a more dominant and aggressive race, with every other race in between. naturally, men will want more submissive partners and women want more dominant partners. that's my theory at least.
