I'm a beginner at this so I'm not very good, but I just wanted to know what FP thinks.

The first doesn't sound like it's in scale.
Stop using premade samples, learn how to program a synth(I use 3xOsc all the time) and learn some basic music theory.

The [URL="http://flstudio.image-line.com/help/html/chansettings_ts404.htm"]TS404 Bassline[/URL] is also good. Takes some time getting used to but it's nice.
FL Studio synth's aren't very ripe for experimentation.
eww cant do with FL studio, i use Ableton Live 8, it is more diverse and i find it easier to use

It really depends on which one you choose. As long as you know what you're doing you're good.
