That was really stupid.
here we go
All I have to do is walk in the door after being away for a weekend and I'll have 4 cats desperate for attention. If your cat doesn't ask for attention you are catting wrong

This only happens if you don't ever treat the cat right.
Pretty obvious their cat doesn't like them, it takes more respect and trust to earn a cats affection, I'd go as far as to saying a cat is a far better judge of character, because they are very independent, and if they show affection for someone, that someone must be very good to them. I'm not going to say dogs are bad judges of character, but even dogs which are abused and hurt by their owners still love them and run back to them no matter how badly treated they are, and in comparison it's so much easier to win a dogs companionship. My cat gets separation anxiety when I leave the house, and freaks out and jumps all over me when I get home.

my cat is old as fuck, basically senile, is clearly out of it most of the time, but still recognises me when I visit home and meows at me. video time of my cat and dog sorry for black bar, was not filmed by me

blanket statement regarding cats/dogs as a result of my own inexperience/experience with my/another persons cat/dog followed by something about trust and companionship
Dogs or Cats, I think we can all agree that they're both great companions because you can put them down when they get old and get a new young one, unlike the married life
My cat actaully greets me from the window near my computer once I come home from school.... Somehow she knows when people come
one of my dogs pisses all over the place when anyone in the family returns home after like 6 hours since they left :v: the other one goes for the nearest squeaky toy starts biting on it furiously while waiting at the back door for us to open it, even if entering trough the front door.
My cat actaully greets me from the window near my computer once I come home from school.... Somehow she knows when people come
My cats, when I lived with my mom, used to wait on the stairs by the front door for me to get home every day. Whether anyone else was home or not, they'd both be there, unless one of them was asleep, in which case she'd be in my room.
I always hate when people get all dismissive and assume all cats suck. They can be really sweet and if you treat them right, they'll be loyal as hell. My oldest cat Mitzy used to not really have anyone to be around cuz my mom would always get new cats and my dad and brother like their dogs. I never grabbed another cat though, so Mitzy always stays in my room with me and she talks to me all the time, especially when I come home after a long time. She always sleeps next to me too whenever I go to bed. Cats can be just as sweet as dogs can be, you just have to treat them right
My cat always greets me at the door when i get home from school/work.
i had 2 cats, one of them was my kitty and was super affectionate to only me, and his kidneys failed so we had to put him down. My other kitty wasn't really affectionate to me but after my other one died, she became super affectionate towards me. Anyone know why?
That's...not really true lmao. If a dog gets absused it clearly shows, abused dogs are scared and can get either aggressive or really anxious. They might still ''respect'' their owners by not attacking them or something, but those dogs do not like their owners. Dogs are social animals who want to live with a pack though, so its not like for cats that can literally just be like ''fuck this and fuck you'' if you abuse cats.
