Battleborn is a completely okay shooter that appeals to my love for SMNC, shame that both games are dead or will be dead really, really soon
Battleborn is a completely okay shooter that appeals to my love for SMNC, shame that both games are dead or will be dead really, really soon
What do you mean dead, Overwatch isn't even out.
What do you mean dead, Overwatch isn't even out.

or will be dead really, really soon
Or this
I think he means MNC/SMNC and Battleborn, not Battleborn and Overwatch. Even still, I would hope that the 60 dollar pricetag on Battleborn means that players will stick with it more than SMNC, but we'll see. I don't see Overwatch going away anytime soon, but mainly because Blizzard will be pushing it very hard in marketing and even in their other games.

Battleborn is a completely okay shooter that appeals to my love for SMNC, shame that both games are dead or will be dead really, really soon
Battleborn was still born, which is a shame because it was fun. As for Overwatch, having played it a lot this game is seriously the fucking future, it's going to take off with popularity to rival CSGO today. Almost everyone that's played it not only enjoys it but loves it, it's so well designed it's actually kind of unbelievable.
And what's the basis for it being "dead really, really soon"??
He refers to SMNC and Battleborn
He refers to SMNC and Battleborn
Ah that makes more sense.
If battleborn came out a year earlier, I feel like it would be getting much more praise than it is just now. They just had some really bad luck/timing with overwatch.

Because I don't think there's any coincidence that the open beta for Overwatch activated on the day Battleborn was supposed to launch (and thus would have server issues), as well as their big ad campaign. Blizzard has done this tactic before and I'm not surprised they continue to do so.

Overwatch doesn't feel like it's worth the price, it felt like it'd be a £20/£25 game which is a shame really
Overwatch doesn't feel like it's worth the price, it felt like it'd be a £20/£25 game which is a shame really
its 40$ on pc in the us if you dont want extra battle.net shit
Overwatch doesn't feel like it's worth the price, it felt like it'd be a £20/£25 game which is a shame really
that's such a low price for a relatively feature rich game for it's genre.
that's such a low price for a relatively feature rich game for it's genre.
With even more going to be added for free.
Yeah, it's $40, but if you check the Battlenet app or online, they like to hide away the non-special edition, so it seems more expensive
So literally Battleborn has all the unpleasurable stuff seen nowadays in games like these including Gearbox's standard scummy practices, all wrapped up in a nice little package. No thanks. The general MOBA-ish feel alone just puts a bullet into the brain of the entire foundation, even it looks seemingly okay from previews.
Overwatch is pretty great so far. Download the beta, its worth it.

so far this is shaping up to be a damn solid year for gaming, been really enjoying overwatch (even though i saw gameplay before hand it and really didnt interest me)
I just know that Overwatch is going to go the way of Division, and cheats are going to come in and fuck up every other game you get into Online gaming in 1998 was so much better when people weren't cunts
I just know that Overwatch is going to go the way of Division, and cheats are going to come in and fuck up every other game you get into
I may be wrong, but I believe that The Division is P2P (aka, connects via pcs) and Overwatch is handled serverside (aka connects to Blizzard's systems) - thus, it's a lot harder for hacks to work. I wonder how Battleborn is handled, though, I assume the same way as Overwatch (due to the moba stuff) but you never know.

Killcams mean there's going to be a lot more videos of it, of which they're already coming out
There's already aimbots and wallhacking in Overwatch. Killcams mean there's going to be a lot more videos of it, of which they're already coming out
Fair enough, but that's unfortunately the case with most FPSes I think- the only reason good ol 1998 times didn't have them was because they weren't developed yet (and headshots were not rewarded as they are now). Hopefully Blizzard deals with that however they can, though I dunno what exactly they could do.

A guy would jump 1000 feet in the air, then have no reload time on his M203 grenade launcher. So they'd take the double ammo load and get 32 of them, jump 1000 feet, then spray and pray all 32 of them. They would NEVER talk, either. NEVER not once say a word, because they were ashamed little shits. Not having cheaters was good while it lasted
Overwatch doesn't feel like it's worth the price, it felt like it'd be a £20/£25 game which is a shame really
£30 is a steal these days for games as good as this.
There's already aimbots and wallhacking in Overwatch. Killcams mean there's going to be a lot more videos of it, of which they're already coming out
The Aimbot is Soldier:76's Ultimate ability, and the Wallhacking is Widowmaker's Ultimate. They're not hacks, they're legit Ultimate Hero abilities :v:. I played the Battleborn Beta and I thought it was a decent game, but not exactly something that could hook me. The characters were decently fleshed out, but it is burdened with the whole concept of laning and leveling up. Now, I know some people enjoy that and it is kind of one of the selling points as a competitive game, but it just seems to get in the way of actually enjoying the game for me. Then, when I finally got into the Overwatch Beta, I was amazed how much I loved it. I actually like playing all the characters (some more than others of course), and Blizzard has just always been amazing at getting the little details perfect. I do feel like Blizzard really played it safe with Overwatch, but its just so damn good, I cannot get enough of jumping around, spraying people down, and throwing sticky bombs as Tracer, its like an infinite source of dopamine for me.
Overwatch doesn't feel like it's worth the price, it felt like it'd be a £20/£25 game which is a shame really
The amount of stellar art and animation is worth the $40 alone.
