Right, so at the moment my blog looks like crap. I'm going to have the layout changed some time in December but I'm lacking ideas on how it could be improved. So colors, background, font, etcetera is what I'm looking to have changed. Maybe also how I present each entry with picture size, style, and so on. If anyone could give me some ideas, maybe even link me to some examples that would be awesome! (Here I would also like some suggestions to other FREE blog hosts that may be better) Again, if you keep the content out of this thread I would appreciate it. I know at least the literature isn't to the taste of many Facepunchers so it's not really something I want you to whip my back about. Thanks in advance. The site doesn't use HTML code in posts. It uses BBcode.
You're an aspiring web designer of some sort and you don't know this. Ok.
Header, 2 sidebars and content block. That's a rather generic layout and there is nothing much to comment.
As for colors, they seem random. There's light purple, dark purple, green and white.
Ugh.
It looks plain and similar to many other blogs I have seen. Find something that makes it different.
Take Facepunch for example. The design is simple yet effective compared to other boards. Where other places have an information overload, Facepunch has only necessary information.
