Fucking savages. They need to be bombed to Kingdom Come and beyond.
absolutely disgusting. al-Dawla are awful, terrible savages. I hope action is taken quickly before more innocents are killed. edit: grammar
RIP, David.
I hope they get a faceful of 5.56 soon
I hope they get a faceful of 5.56 soon
They need a face full of incendiary devices being delivered to them at terminal velocity.
Harming aid workers is a whole new level of heinous.
I don't care who does it or how they do it. But someone needs to kill them and quickly.
FUCK OFF NOW ISIS.
I wonder if this will influence British involvement?
Don't they realise this only makes people angrier and more supportive of the idea to wipe them out?
"Ahmed, how should we tell America that we mean serious business?" "I'm not sure Mohamed, maybe we should behead innocent people! They will be begging on their knees for mercy!" "Ahmed....that is absolutely.... the most brilliant idea I have ever heard!"
Don't they realise this only makes people angrier and more supportive of the idea to wipe them out?
That's probably part of it, they wanna fight the west as part of there Jihad.
That's probably part of it, they wanna fight the west as part of there Jihad.
Too bad for them their jihad will just end with their organization turned into a smoldering crater
I wonder if this will influence British involvement?
I imagine it would. Doing nothing would be the equivalent of surrendering.
I don't understand their mentality. If the decapitation of hundreds and slaughter of thousands brought them the attention of the world and created conflict, how do they expect that doing the same thing will grant them victory or prevent their own demise? I'm impressed there are still people that are willing to stay in the Middle East to help others and report news, that is one hugely courageous thing to do.
fucking hell man
I wonder if this will influence British involvement?
It will. Public support for bombing them already surged when they said David Haines would be next, and if they've killed him there will be enormous pressure on the government to respond. They've been 'not ruling out' military action for a while now, and word on the street is that it's only taking so long because of disagreements over air strikes in Syria. There appears to be broad parliamentary support for action in Iraq, and there will be a lot of pressure on the government to get on with it after this. We already knew that the UK would be getting involved sooner or later. All this has done is narrow it down to 'sooner'. [editline]14th September 2014[/editline]
Just saw an extended video, still looks fishy.
put sanctions on them

They think that by proving their bloodlust they'll leave us cowering under their boots like the people they've already conquered. They don't seem to really grasp how majorly outgunned they are because of their fanaticism.
And they're not gonna stop until we deal with them.

They likely want us to become angry at our governments for not preventing this circumstance. I doubt that the superpowers would back down though.
B-but guys, They're people too! stop dehumanizing them!!!!!
"Ahmed, how should we tell America that we mean serious business?" "I'm not sure Mohamed, maybe we should behead innocent people! They will be begging on their knees for mercy!" "Ahmed....that is absolutely.... the most brilliant idea I have ever heard!"
Eh, I think it's more about flexing your own muscles. If you can prove you can step on a superpower's toes, it shows you have a degree of power and influence other groups do not. Beheading people makes for great headlines and riles up people like in this thread, that's exactly the kind of reaction that determines the success of their methods. Their reputation increases/they get more well known, terror spreads more easily, and the revenge-driven reactions of the enemy population make for great material to show potential recruits why they need to fight with you. It's all about increasing their influence on home turf, not about making the Western World cower before them or something silly along those lines. It's also why most spokesmen try to play it cool-headed and matter-of-fact-ly instead of using pathos like most of this thread.
B-but guys, They're people too! stop dehumanizing them!!!!!
They need rehabilitation.
They need rehabilitation.
Rehabilitation through incendiary munitions that leaves nothing to bury, preferably.
Just saw an extended video, still looks fishy.
Fishy how? Fishy like it's fake fishy? Why would they fake a beheading.
They need rehabilitation.
Is the rehabilitation centre called JDAM Rehabilitation Sponsored by US Air Force?
They need rehabilitation.
I bet scandinavian prisons could straighten them out!
