As a WoW player, I found this really interesting, and a little frightening.
That much money for a pet that you ride on? And I thought that the COD:MW map packs were stupid.

Well it's not actually that much from Blizzard themselves, you get a card from the trading card game with a code on it and unlock it in game from that. The spectral Tiger is either old and therefore rare or just rare anyway so websites sell the code from hundreds of pounds. But I completely agree, it's beyond ridiculous to pay that amount for that.
Really, really good video. Awesome in fact.
This is why I've never picked up and played an MMO, I know i'd get addicted
It's quite easy to quit wow. Just run out of money!
i tried the WoW demo once
i thought it was gay as shit and extremely dull and shallow

I managed to get to level 47 in wow before getting bored.
the dungeons are extremely fun, but that's about it.

Also known as: Koreans kicking your ass
Shit I didn't even go through all that, I just up and quit WoW. Unsubscribed and all.
I'm still lonely as fuck too. :(
Wow. This guy must feel so proud of himself. 6 years of playing WoW... I can't imagine that.
I tried the WoW trial, got really bored
MMORPG's are great until I can't explore that much.
I got a free trial for WoW a few years ago, played it for about an hour before quitting because my PC could hardly handle it at the time, I found the gameplay to be very boring, and my ping kept shooting through the roof for no real reason.
Glad I was never sucked in.

Most people say the game really starts after you hit 85, with raiding, pvp and what not.
I actually just canceled my subscription after about a year and a half. The people I started with no longer played and that took out a ton of the fun. I really did have legitimately great times with my friends playing though.

I play it with all of my 5 closest friends, all of which are now spread throughout the UK, we use it to 'hang out' and keep in constant contact. If I played it alone I would lose interest after a week.
I was actually stunned by the message in the beginning, never even though of that.
I fear everything now.
I just picked up TOR, seems like it'd be impossible to get sucked in like WoW

Proud of essentially being a loser?
I think if you commit as much as that person did, yeah, you're kinda a dumb ass. I've played WoW off and on since the original game, never really committed for more then around a year and a half (which occurred once). I never spent real life money on items, never chose WoW over real life, never spent entire days playing it, usually only nights in my free time.
Its possible to play and have fun without being addicted. Its just you need to remember its a game, and should be treated as such. I don't play anymore because it stopped being fun to me, and that's all there is to it.
You'd have to be really weak to get addicted to WoW. I mean after a few days of not playing with friends you'd get bored of the game and stop playing.
I fucking hate game addictions.

He probably bought it on ebay, as it was a rare trading card game loot card if I recall correctly.

But still, pretty ridiculous.

MOTHER OF GOD give this man a medal
These things really make you question your own actions
i've quitted gaming for a whole year in order to study for university, but even so i can't tell if i'm making the right choices or if i know what i am doing and if i have free will over my gaming...
I don't really have a "life" inside the computer like that guy
but then again, neither do i have one outside of it
Poor guy, having a girl he liked just leave him when he went to visit her in her home country.
My brother plays World of Warcraft, I find it very ridiculous to pay a subscription for ANY game. I realize that to run an MMORPG server it isn't cheap, but hot damn after years of playing does it add up.
TF2 Hats
I've stemmed my addiction to that buy buying those hats in real life instead of in-game.
I've got 52 last time I counted.
I played WoW until I hit level 85
Got bored, quit
Came back when new 4.3 raid came
Did it
Quit
Probably won't start it up when this next dlc hits because it's boring now
