In the second incident, a 13-year-old La Crosse student on Sunday posted on his Facebook page a link with a photo of the Holmen Middle School with the headline “Student killed by clown from HMS.” The link took users to a cartoon clown and the statement, “You got owned.”
Holmen police recommend the boys face charges of felony terroristic threats.
"Antics like this will not be tolerated," Police Chief Shane Collins stated.
First I've seen of people being charged for this, it happened in my hometown. Not really following the situation but it seems like it's starting to be taken seriously.
I mean, it shouldn't be taken lightly, but recommending they be charged with felony terroristic threats? That's just a little excessive for some stupid kids being stupid.
Ruling out the possibility it's an actual threat isn't the right thing to do... Until they themselves thoroughly admit it was a dumb joke and nothing more, I'd take it seriously
Saying people were going to be hurt at the soccer game is a bit iffy, but the second kid literally didn't do anything wrong at all.

Really? The cops want to charge him over that? Get fucking real.
Honestly they shouldn't have clowned around like that.
I mean there have been plenty of cases of some 13 year old outright murdering another. Then again if they had the intent to do it they'd probably just do it right there and then instead of making a page about it. I dunno. Maybe I'm just too worried.
That just seems like another meme, why charge them with terrorism?
Read the article guys..
A 15-year-old Holmen student sent Facebook messages warning students not to attend the Holmen High School football game on Friday because of clowns who would harm them, according to Holmen police. The student charged his profile to a picture of a clown and invited others with clown profiles on Facebook to visit Holmen to “have some fun,” police stated.
5 seconds to read this and understand why they're being charged. They made a threat towards the school and students. Stupid charges but hey, play stupid games win stupid prizes.
They got owned.

They? The article says only one of them did that, the other one just posted a harmless joke (distasteful, at worst).
So were these two vying for the title of Class Clown?

Me too, please. I don't know what the fuck is going on but it's only a matter of time until someone capitalizes on clown hysteria.

You should be ashamed of yourself.
