Hi all! In my free time I do some graphical design stuff, and I made some logos. Now some are old and all but I made new ones, now can you select one that is the best looking for you? :) Thanks! The 2nd one is just a fancy rendering.
i had a hard time time making that visual connection between the sofa and the piece of film. initially i thought it looked like a train. also, please drop the gradients - they're not at all appropriate for what you're trying to accomplish here

I'll probably use a full blue one anyway.
Each one looks better than the rest.
I'd like the first one best if it didn't have the weird gradient. The third one is okay, it's just not as dynamic with it not being angled. I really don't like the second one at all since it has no concept behind it.

drop the gradients. stick to solid colors
Personally I think 2nd one is by far better than others because of the colors. 1st and 3rd look unappealing, if not 'juvenile', can't explain exactly what I mean now.
Lol Hard to decide :D My personal opinion is that the 2nd one is the best. But, when I show it to any of my friends, they say it's crap -.- and that the 1st one looks better. Im gonna change the 1st one a bit and the 2nd one and post it then...
I would stay away from gradients all together. They very rarely look good, only in certain cases.. Also like someone else said above I'm having a hard time noticing that the left bit is a couch, I didnt know until you said. Maybe make the definition between couch and film more obvious?
I'll try to explain it a bit better this time. the 1st one is very bland, it's just some lines blended in one and a very saturate gradient added. Don't get me wrong here, I think the 1st one does have potential. Try using a much softer and less saturate (simplistic style) gradient and possibly an outline (inner and outer), similar to 2nd. 2nd looks almost professional to me as im not a graphic designer myself, aside from the hole in the center.
graphic designer myself?
I'm not a graphic designer, that's what I meant.

If it doesn't look good in straight black and white, it's not a good logo. Concept means more than execution in design. Putting them in completely black and white is the real way to test a logo. I think, personally, your first one will have the most success at that.
I like that the third one doesn't look like it's in italic [sp](font weight)[/sp] but you should make it more clear that it's a couch, usually by associating it with a color - like brown. Also finish up the film itself.
