Compared to earlier "simpler" times we are seriously fucked up, me and my work mates were enjoying some food at an all night bakery after work as we usually do, and the conversation jumped between topics as they always do, but I found that some of the content definatly would be refused classification in Aus.
And I found it hilarious, ripping on one of our mates for "jacking off over blood and raping corpses" to another person for "having a girl disolving in a barrel in his backyard" just some of the mind bogoling conversation topics we discuss and generally laugh about.
Of course we are just joking around, but we really are so desensitized to these things, it makes you wonder.. what will the next generation of people be like? so detached from humanity as to not even care for others? we care for our loved ones, but barely at all for others. SO im sitting here at 3 AM thinking that we are really fucked up lol.
The amount of prudes and offended people dropped, due to the internet pretty much saying what it wants.
But of course we still have people offended by anything and everything.
Ancient cultures used to grow up completely around killing people, they would have been way more desensitized than us. Things seem to be getting better as time progresses.
Humans are social creatures, they will always care about one another.

For math, we have to do surveys. For mine, I am researching the correlation between the genre of music you like, and what your grades are. Over half of the people I have asked have said rap/hip hop/pop/other shit like that, and that group has mostly grades below 75%. :downs:

Ironically, the people that subscribe to old religions seem to be more violent than most people i meet that play violent games and such. We were obviously more violent in the past. I couldn't really tell you if it's directly related to religion though.
