• Protein intake with my usual team practice

I play defense on my lacrosse team. Although my position should be a more wider build, I'm 5'11" and only weigh 145. I don't own any weight, or a gym membership. At practice I usually have about 2 miles of running and 25 full field sprints, but no lifting. Would it be in my best interests to do some minor protein intake along with my healthy diet, or would that just be ridiculous?
inject the protein and carbs directly after working out into any muscle of ur choosing
No, you don't want any protein intake. Proteins basically destroy your muscles unless you spending 2+ hours at the gym every day.

Eat more, eat protein through out the day etc balh
Nothing wrong with having protein shakes, but I've read a lot of normal milk will give you good weight gain on its own. http://stronglifts.com/gomad-milk-squats-gallon-gain-weight/
o boy this jallen guy reccomending gomad pls op follow his advice and enjoy your fat goals 2012
I'm not recommending gomad, I don't know anyone who would actually drink 1 gallon of milk a day, I'm just saying that milk is good for gaining weight in general.
this just in eating at a surplus makes you gain weight. op should just eat a decent meal sometime prior to working out and shift his macros to a more protein and carb focused diet

You should take in protein no matter what, about 1 gram for every pound of body weight. All that happens to your muscles of you take protein and don't work out is they don't get bigger. Its not going to "destroy" anything.
