like honestly they've obviously got the writing, they were just too fucking lazy to implement stuff like this in game. Needed to focus less on the 4 player co-op and more on the cinematics (and actually faces that fucking move, please?), and then just tack on the 4player, it would've been so much better.
This one was great, it also makes me wonder, are they going to make borderlands 2?

Honestly why isn't the humour that these videos have in the actual game. Maybe they could have pulled off a shitty ending and story if it had some comical effect to it that made it worth playing through.
Anyway, these videos are the best thing that came from Borderlands except Moxxi's boobs.

he was my favorite character, it killed me to see him hanging from the ceiling fan.
UUURHHGHH this game could've been so much better. The characters were interesting (at least some of them) and then half of the guys that gave you quests were boring as shit. I was building up the experience of seeing scooter - hearing him all over the place, I was excited when I entered Haven, and then he was just... there. Nothing big happened, nothing that made him stand out at all.

the worst part is they're not going to be making a sequel if you take the plot for the way that most are (cyclical nature of the world etc) so they can't actually fix any of this shit
they also could have made the style so much better, what with the character names. It felt Tarantino-eqsue at times, and then the rest was just so half assed

The General Knoxx DLC really upped the standard of the writing, and actually added some proper cutscenes so the characters seemed like a bit more than 3D models with a bulletin board for your quests when you clicked on them. Shame it took them until the 3rd DLC to realize what people wanted was proper characters. And that DLC was almost ruined by the fucking driving sections, so I don''t know what to think. They really should make a sequel, all it needed was some more characterisation and more replayability.

General Knoxx in his respective DLC was the funniest character I've seen in a game for ages. Shame most of the other characters are only giggleworthy.

Because they weren't quite sure how it'd turn out? I don't know, maybe they didn't think of doing it until Knoxx came around to developing.
