The Rockstar Games website has been replaced by the words Grand Theft Auto V, and a trailer release date (11/02/11).
Can't wait to see where they'll set GTA V.

Rockstar, why do you keep making fucking awesome and fun to play games? Whatever you're doing don't stop, I don't think I've ever not enjoyed a GTA title.
Holy shit can't wait to see what they're going to do.
Hopefully the PC version isn't some shoddy unoptimised console port.
I've been waiting for this ever since I completed GTA IV. Despite people being divided over that game, I absolutely loved every minute of the 25 hours I spent completing the story. I loved it so much that I've completed the story three times now. It's also the only game I bothered getting 100% on. I can't wait to see what GTA V will bring to the table.

I'm glad the trailer is already next week, it means we don't have to spend a bunch of time guessing on where and what it's gonna be about.
I don't know why, but that V doesn't exactly say "San Adreas" to me. It might be a new city overall.

I'm probably going to get insulted for this, but I enjoyed IV more than SA.

The green in the V makes me think it's in San Andreas. Green as in grove street.

This was a nice thing to wake up to. I wish Rockstar would stop being so secretive with their projects but then again it does ensure a lot of security and control on their part.
The banner with the "five" thing reminds me of the style of the western world 100-200 years ago. It's hard to explain, but that's what I think. I'm not saying the game will be set in that time period, but it reminds me of Washington DC kind of. Will GTAV be set in the capital city?
Anyways I hope the game goes back to the arcadic-ness of San Andreas rather than the realism of IV.

PC Players will wait the 6 additional months after the initial console release. Just like with every other GTA game.
I really hope it goes back to the random fun of San Andreas, thats what I think was missing from IV, although I loved GTA IV. A lot of rumors about it being in San Andreas too. But the whole green V thing sort of reminds me of a biker tattoo for some reason ha.

It was a leap because SA an IV were released for different console generation.
