Imagine spending extra money on SL, let alone over $60 for the edgy armor and epic katana of ten thousand gaijin souls or whatever the fuck it is.
Imagine spending extra money on SL, let alone over $60 for the edgy armor and epic katana of ten thousand gaijin souls or whatever the fuck it is.
Don't write off the idea of putting your money into SL; it is a useful business platform. I have a friend who makes in-game products and lives off of her earnings with the opportunity to build new PCs every year and travel the world, etc. In other words much more money than you would make with the same amount of hard work in real life. Digital hard work can be duplicated and sold. I'm not saying to put all of your eggs in one basket, but keep an open-mind so that you don't lose out.
can your friend teach me how?
Imagine spending extra money on SL, let alone over $60 for the edgy armor and epic katana of ten thousand gaijin souls or whatever the fuck it is.
he cant into l$ (linden, sl currency) conversion 546L$ is the equivalent to $2.50 1,200$L (the sword price) is around like 5$ 8,888$L (The Armor Price) is around like 30$ the armor is overpriced as shit compared to other good armors you can buy. his sword is a game rip that is overpriced. someone i know got pretty fancy actually good looking midevil armor for 2500$L, which is around like 8-10$ me and friends built the facepunch clubhouse 2.0 for around 8000l$, which most of the money went to just buying land (im guessing around 50-60%) and the rest went to modular build kits and decor. if you want to check it out go to the SL thread in games general where theres a teleporter link (Also, we are looking for a constant population, if you wanna hang out and stuff feel free to jump in!) if your smart, you can find higher quality stuff for cheaper all the time. also, if anyone out there is good at modeling just a fyi the armor market in SL is really small. You can jump in and make tons of money if you make a autistic-quality tier armor for either fantasy or sci-fi for cheap. if we get enough facepunch sl creators in the clubhouse we might open up a vendor area in the clubhouse to support peeps. edit: oh also, if he spent 1,250L$ on that muramasa high frequency sword gamerip, he's a fucking idiot. https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/Jetstream-Sams-Sword-HF-Murasama/7763908 100L$ which is like, 50 cents.
can your friend teach me how?
Well she put some money into the game, has some spaces to vend her products, and she spends a good portion of her time creating/coding the products. Last time I talked to her she was mainly making products for the defense/security market in SL and was heading off on a trip to Africa to volunteer; I am not sure what she is up to now. The concept is the same as real life in many ways except it's a virtual platform; the same business mentalities can be applied there. And if you have a mind/skill-set for modelling and coding then you're well-blessed and you shouldn't have many problems making money in the SL world if you tap into the right markets. [editline]27th March 2016[/editline] Here's a story from 10 years ago about SLs first millionaire if you're curious about these sorts of things. Just a few weeks ago, there was an article on the news node subforum about how a couple (I think?) made like 3k a week just by making and selling furniture on Second Life. They were LOADED just from selling virtual wood to weirdos. also, call 911, something's going on in my chest, it feels like I might pass out soon and possibly die from all of... whatever this is that pulls us away from inner peace I just can't believe theres people like that. I refuse to believe he's serious.
Kind of hope he sends him that drawing of his character model. That was pretty good.

HOOLIUS PLEASE!
I've been looking forward to Oney's adventures in Second Life since he started talking about them on the Sleepycast
this ain't even funny, he just had a legitimate conversation with an aspie about mundane shit. I kept expecting him to provoke the guy but he didn't.
I kept expecting him to provoke the guy but he didn't.
He tried to a few times, but the guy just, like, pretended nothing happened. He only responded to whatever fed into his bragging spree. :v:
according to the bowser guy in the comments that appears in the video, the second video happened a year ago
I was waiting for him to go Whoaaah your sword made his game uninstall... I wish you'd hit me with it
HE'S BACK!
who was playing as shadow?
