IFAP does Blue and Grey(probably, unless you're a little bitch)

So, up and coming on October 12-13th is Blue and Grey, a future american Civil war type deal, where its so far hinted to be like a post-apoc splitting of the american whatever who the fuck cares, what matters is that American Milsim is behind it, and its basically a continuation of the Broken Home series, which some of you went to
The point is, this game is coming up, and its going to be at Ballahack air soft in Chesapeake, VA. I apologize in advance if this OP is shitty, I'm on my phone because my home internet shat the bed.
The premise is simple. There are two teams, the Coalition of Sovereign Territories, and the United Federal States. The UFS already has a lot of people registered, so we're going CoST. There are 3 completely empty squads available: Sqd 1-1, 3-2, and 3-3. The roster for a squad is as follows:
Sqd leader Alpha
Sqd leader Bravo
Medic
SSW(Sniper stuff whatever)
HWS(I'm guessing its heavy weapons?)
Rifleman
Rifleman
Rifleman
Rifleman
Rifleman
Rifleman
Rifleman
So, long story short, we need 12 people to fill a squad. Here's the link to register, the price is steep: 125 big ones per player. However, legit military vehicles are guaranteed, and lots of pyrotechnics too. https://ams.ticketbud.com/obg
If you are under the age of 16, you must fill these out first. http://americanmilsim.com/forum/index.php?/topic/997-minor-application/
Another thing, as far as uniforms go: CoST is OPFOR. That means we get green-based uniforms. Also, squad headgear must match. The easy vote is M81 or Marpat headgear, and whatever uniform you want. Gear can be any color. We will have the advantage as far as concealment goes, as Ballahack is Hella Fucking Green. Tan is easy to spot in the forest and swamps.
Just post in the thread if you intend to go or think you can, and what position you will fill, and I'll update the OP. If you intend to act as squad leader, say so. Squad leaders will be voted.on by all attendees.

OP UPDATE!!!!
Tactical data tells me that no, squad headgear DOES NOT have to match each other, but it DOES have to match the team base color. I.E. we cannot wear tan headgear.
A minor update that i forgot to mention, for those that have hella lots of dosh, you can pay for helicopter gun runs($75), IDAM(Independent Direct Action Mission, $100), and Squad DAMs($400 for the whole squad). There are only 5 IDAMs and 3 DAMs available. To participate in a helicopter gun run, an IDAM, or a DAM, you must be 18 or older. The allure of the DAM is a ride in a military vehicle, followed by a specialized mission and pyrotechnics. As far as an IFAP DAM, it would really suck(for me, specifically, or any other under 18 participants) for most of the squad to go on a DAM and for them to have to be left behind and retasked to a different squad. If you can afford and want to do a Heli run or an IDAM, be our guest, but that means leaving the squad and reconnecting later on.
Why did it have to be the 12th? Damn it, I am actually in VA and would 100% be down for it but it's the same day as Hazardous Containment up in New York and I really don't want to miss that.
Hmmmmmm maybe
dammit
why do i have to be canadian
at least you're not european
Can't wait until I have loads of dosh to go to these :c

Hopefully there's a big op that CanadaFAP can all go to one day.

So, not for nothing, but I'm a little bitch if I don't want to pay $125 to go to an op at the same field Tankban goes to..? I know it's run by American MilSim, but I can't justify that cost.
I updated the OP, check it out at the bottom. Another small note, it's highly likely that empty squads are not going to be available for very long, so we need to act fast. If you think you can go and want to, i NEED to know. We only need 10 people for a full squad. We really don't even need 10, cause if it isn't full than the commander will just fill it up with strays, which still works. Still though, let me know if you can or want to go.

Do not trash the thread with comments about how $125 is too much. This thread is for people who INTEND to go, not those that don't or can't.
As far as the title goes, it helps to have a sense of humor.
Well, its a pretty valid point.
I've been wanting to go to a big event with all y'all, and this one sounds awesome but I can't justify $125 in addition to errything else
Plus I hadn't heard anything about this event til just now lol

No trust me, i get it. I double-took when i saw the price of admission. Hell, it might even dictate if *I* can go. But it's guaranteed to be a blast. I dunno.
Right now i'm thinking about it from the standpoint of that it's gotta be that expensive for a reason.
Just like Dre Beats and the new Apple iPhone 5s now available only at Walmart!
The reason for the cost is the military vehicles and pyro, its really that easy, and neither of those guarantee fun.
Since this is on the same day as Hazardous Containment, we're forced to compare the two, and I really can't see a reason to go to Blue and Grey over HC. I'd see if you and your Dad are up for a roadtrip to that, since I know several of us were already planning to attend over there.
Hmm. HMMMMMMMMM.
I'll have a chat with him tomorrow.
See what he thinks.
(HC will be awesome, you'll like it)
Last year's game had my most fun moment ever in airsoft, fixing a sabotaged gas generator in the dark and praying to every deity I could think of that the zombies wouldn't hear it and swarm us every time we failed to start it.
Ifap meetup at HC?

The concept has certainly been mentioned to other people, but we should keep it out of this thread so we're not fucking up anyone else's day. I'll talk to Catbarf about setting up a thread or something tomorrow.

You're right, and my apologies to Ossumsauce for derailing the thread. I'd like to go to Blue and Grey but it's just poor timing. I'll start a new thread soon.
It's fine, but there's no way of me going to HC. Admission to B&G will down us $250, plus food and gas, so around $350. A trip up to upstate New York will put us down near $700. We may not go to either, and just wait for Revelations IV. I'll keep this thread updated, though, in case we do go.
