It's a great song but how in the hell does it beat Lean On.
Ugh, what an awful list. The only names that stand out are Japanese Wallpaper and Lana Del Rey, and High by the Beach is easily one of her worst songs.
It's good to see Kendrick is that high up. King Kunta is great. Hoops is pretty good but I don't think it should be first.
Hoops is kinda meh imo. Didn't deserve #1. What I don't get is all the Courtney Barnett hate I'm seeing, I've already seen quite a few comments saying how bad she is when her music isn't even very high on the list. Like holy shit fair enough if you don't like it but get off your pedestal.
I'm so fucking glad that Shannon Noll didn't make the list.
i done a listen to this 'hoops' and it is so thoroughly average if not shit dont listen to the radio [editline]26th January 2016[/editline] boy Lean On is awful too
I know none of the top 10 except Tame Impala -_-
I'm surprised King kunta didn't get 1st. Hoops is dramatically average compared to it.
Will probably be jumping on a bandwagon here, but apart from Lana del Rey and Sia, I know pretty much none of these interprets.
I'm surprised King kunta didn't get 1st. Hoops is dramatically average compared to it.
Because not everyone liked the SoCal 90s, likely.

Started off great then went a bit wierd in the middle for me. Didn't really agree with the top 10 but whatever was still a good day

I could have easily seen it in the top 50 at least.
I don't usually go for the the top picks, there's usually good shit still amongst the list but oh my fucking god so much courtney barnett fuck me with a fork
I don't usually go for the the top picks, there's usually good shit still amongst the list -videos- but oh my fucking god so much courtney barnett fuck me with a fork
The whole of Rudimentals new album is quite good.
They already got a spotify list wow. https://play.spotify.com/user/triple.j.abc/playlist/2KayK25tHCMTLioPz2OLQp
Glad to see Ratatat on the list, even in 52nd place. Their new album was great. Good to see Tame Impala in the top 10, as well.
There's a few good names and songs on that list that somewhat deserve to be up there, but it's mostly garbage. Radio pop is bad, who knew! [editline]26th January 2016[/editline] Kendrick deserves that slot though. He definitely does.
They already got a spotify list wow. https://play.spotify.com/user/triple.j.abc/playlist/2KayK25tHCMTLioPz2OLQp
They were updated the playlists as they counted down the songs. They have since 2012.
god damn this list is a misery lol, good times at only 26?
Not sure if it's a good or a bad thing that I only know 5 of the names on this list
Neither, it's all about music taste. If you don't listen to the radio, that might be why. I listen to a lot of pop simply because I live in south Florida and this place is pop and EDM central.
Well it happened, i hit 26 years of age and i became a pensioner over night because apart from florence and and lana, i don't know a single artist on that list and i don't know any of the songs either. Music DOA 2015.
Just going to post this to explain to anyone who might be like "i dont know anyone on ther?" Countries of artist represented: Australia – 54 United Kingdom – 26 United States – 20 Canada – 5 New Zealand – 3 Jamaica – 2 Denmark – 2 France – 2 Germany – 1 Papua New Guinea – 1 Sweden – 1 Triple J is a Government/Crown owned youth radio station under the ABC branch that plays Australian and Alternative music amongst many others They don't deal with artist who are mainstream unless they focused on them before they got to that point (like the Weeknd)
I don't usually go for the the top picks, there's usually good shit still amongst the list but oh my fucking god so much courtney barnett fuck me with a fork
At Long Last really felt like a weak attempt to emulate trippy drugged out music to me, it's got some good songs but overall I don't think it was that strong compared to his Freshman album. I think its a stepback from his cloud rap era.
would rather king kunta or do you remember
Oh, Australian. Explains how they've even heard of flight facilities then. or why it's like half futureclassic
It's a great song but how in the hell does it beat Lean On.
both are ass
Great, another thread where everyone treats their opinion and tastes as fact.
Great, another thread where everyone treats their opinion and tastes as fact.
but aren't these lists basically collected opinions and tastes? some people just feel and think whatever song they say is better than another, IDK where people are treating what they say as fact.
