So whilst being locked in my house for god knows how long I picked up my guitar and this happened. It's supposed to tell some kind of story, enjoy it, and criticize please! Please, please, tune your guitar before recording each track. It's borderline unlistenable when it's this out of tune. Also work on your finger strength and positioning on the frets. I hear a lot of buzzing, not sure whether it's the guitar or how you're playing it, but either way. As it's an acoustic EP, I can see why you wouldn't want to add a straight 'drum kit' to the songs, but some light percussion (shakers, cajon etc?) would add some rhythm to the tracks. I like the chord sequences (especially on Departure and Return), but as it's just one or two tracks of acoustic guitars, without vocals or anything else, it tends to get boring. Some piano, violin, singing or something would be good to add momentum and progression to the songs. Yeah, after hearing all the tracks the main thing is tuning your guitars. Sorry to be so harsh but you asked for criticism! Hope this helps.
There's no such thing as harsh criticism you could have said they sucked major dick as long as there was a reason. I appreciate all of that. It definitely gives me the right idea as where to go with it. As I said I pretty much made this out of having nothing better to do. It's pretty rough as a basis but now I can make it into something more
