By the looks of it the textures look really low res for the character model's clothing. That seems to be the only thing that is bothering me about this game. But the rest of it looks awesome.

99% of the game is going to take place in the sky. with jets. and helicopters. so you wont be seeing many people in the game.

Man, the end of that first trailer gave me chills.
The only thing I hate is what they've done with the close up fighting. Air combat is never that close up, that's fucking ridiculous, your enemies are supposed to be little dots on the horizon most of the time, even in the extremely arcadey Ace Combat series they've known this.
Still... I think this will be awesome. We'll have to wait and see.
I've gotten chills as well. And I'm sure you can still "missile-snipe" that's just dogfight mode. At least I hope.

I haven't heard that long-range combat has been completely removed in this game, just that you can now stay close behind enemy planes now without losing it a second later or making your missiles ineffective.
And honestly i welcome the changes this one is bringing. The series has followed the same formula story and especially gameplay-wise since 4, and by 6 was really showing how overplayed it was. A lot of you are probably unaware just how close the underwhelming reception of AC6 came to killing the franchise, and it's lucky to be getting a game that's not a budget or portable title.

I'm pretty sure in the second video I saw the pilot get blown out of the enemy plane.

Yeah before it was just fighters, now there are attack helicopters, bombers, gunships and chopper gunners.
